The trip was overall good, ticking off the list of things. The onyx experience was disappointing- we were not shown anything about how onyx is made- just shown some jewellery and a couple of onyx pieces then herded into the shop to ‘look’. This was near the beginning of the trip and was not good. The panoramic views were all good. A coffee stop was snatched at the crater lake- a proper coffee stop with some chat from the guide at the lake would be a better idea I think as not much to see/do at the lake. The guide had good English but a heavy accent that made it difficult at times to understand. I also felt some of the explanations about volcanic action and erosion could have been expanded on. A handout showing all the different ethnic and religious arrivals with dates would have been useful to better appreciate the tour. We certainly saw a lot of the ‘green’ valley and several unique viewpoints. Lunch was pleasant- I had the trout. Nice setting. The last stop at the organic shop was a good one and much pleasanter than the onyx shop one I felt. Less pressure to buy and you could ask questions etc. also some really nice tastings. Overall I enjoyed the trip.

The tour was very interesting. We received a lot of new information. A well-planned tour. The lunch was very good. The guide spoke very understandable English. I would recommend it to anyone who is in Cappadocia without a car.

Great tour!! Worth every penny. We stayed on schedule, visited a lot of stuff somewhat covered by the red tour; if we had known, we would only have done this tour since we did so much. The guide was energetic, provided little surprises and kept it engaging. It’s a must-do if you stay in Cappadocia.

Was great to do the tour, especially off-season. Weather is still great, and additionally fewer other tourists at the site. Our guide Eray (sorry if I spelt that wrong!) was so friendly and was happy to respond to all of our questions. Really excellent value for money, the only things I'd suggest for improvement might be: - encouraging interaction between members of the tour - a bit less of a rushed paced at times (it would have been so nice to spend more time exploring the crater lake and to savour our lunch - perhaps fewer stops, quality over quantity?) - more of an active element (although I appreciate not everyone will be interested in this). Overall it was a lovely experience and I would definitely recommend 😌
