Panos was an amazing guide and gave a great tour of Athens! We loved how he took time to explain the history of the sites we were visiting and he tailored the tour to our needs! We especially loved seeing the changing of the guard and the Acropolis!

My husband, daughter (10 years old), and I visited Athens during a Mediterranean cruise with a port stop from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. My husband is a philosophy professor and I am a former archaeology professor, we knew we wanted to make the most of our limited time and see as many historically significant sites as possible while in Athens. After extensive research, we chose this tour—and it exceeded every expectation. From the beginning, our driver, Anestis, provided excellent communication and was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He was also a very safe driver, and his spacious, comfortable vehicle made it easy to enjoy a full day of exploring. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights, answered countless questions, and impressed us with his knowledge of multiple languages and cultures. His friendly personality and engaging conversation made the day even more enjoyable. We also hired a licensed guide, Helen, and she was absolutely amazing. Her depth of knowledge brought Athens to life, and she tailored the experience to our specific interests. We had some unusual requests, including visits to Plato’s "original" Academy and the site traditionally associated with Socrates’ Prison. Helen not only took us to these locations but also provided thoughtful explanations of the archaeological evidence, historical context, and current scholarly understanding. We especially appreciated learning about the archaeological finds in the area, including the discovery of hemlock cups and the discussion surrounding where Socrates may have spent his final days. One of the greatest advantages of this private tour was the flexibility. We were able to ask questions, spend time taking photos, and move at our own pace. Helen expertly guided us through the museums and sites, helping us understand and appreciate what we were seeing in a way that would not have been possible on our own, especially within such a limited timeframe. To top it all off, they recommended a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed some of the best Greek food of our trip. This tour provided exactly what we were hoping for: an engaging, educational, and deeply memorable experience of Athens. We wholeheartedly recommend this company, as well as Helen and Anestis, to anyone visiting Athens, whether you're arriving by cruise ship or staying in the city. They helped make our day in Athens truly unforgettable.

Our tour guide Panos was very knowledgeable of the area. He did a great job getting to the attractions and explaining the highlights of what we should explore. He really catered to what we wanted to see and took us to a great restaurant for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour.

Panos was an amazing tour guide! Prompt and ready to give us the best tour of Athens! We had a group of 9 and at first I was concerned about how it would all go, but Panos was an expert, he knew where to drop us off to be at the closest spot and picked us up promptly when notified! What was super amazing was he planned a sit down lunch/dinner for us at the cutest spot (Kapers)! It was a MamaMia moment! The food and hospitality was great, the meals were great price, bathroom was clean, it was perfect and everyone, all 9 were thrilled! We of course saw all the Greek ruins, then were brought to a great shopping area. Panos even had bottled water for us. It was a fabulous day. Thank you Panos! OPA!

I can only rate our driver as perfect. Michael brought the history alive. His knowledge and ability to communicate it was exceptional.
