We highly recommend booking a tour through Just Go Tours. We were a family group of 5 adults and wanted a bit more than just driving to each site. We wanted a bit more of an adventure with a great guide. We definitely got what we were looking for. We booked the full day private tour of the West. We were picked up in a classic, cool Land Rover Defender with lots of room for the five of us. Our driver Justino was amazing. He gauged our comfort level with narrow steep roads then took us on a drive where no tourist driver would even consider going. Steep narrow short cuts, off road trails, cliff side lesser known roads with amazing views. He was a very good, skilled driver and also very knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. He gave us whatever time we wanted at the stops and even joined us on some stops (if there was parking for the Land Rover) and for lunch where he could continue to give us great information and direction. We opted not to swim in the natural pools but enjoyed lunch in Porto Moniz. All in all we would highly recommend this company. We believe that it would be difficult to get anything better than the tour we had with Justino. If you want a little adventure added to your trip and not just driving to the sites this is the tour for you.
Poor quality vehicles. There are plenty of other options that are superior to this company. Wish I had trusted those who said to stay away. I liked the guide but the company he works for is terrible.
Who are you... you never been on my company? You must be a friend or family member of the other guy you made the bad review further down from yours, so... trying to damage my company, but you are ignorant like your friend ignorant. I use Land Rover Defenders on top condition. Everybody likes but not you and not your friend because he didn't got the full refund like he wanted. I have the best Land Rover Defender on the island. we don't need people like you on the Island, I recommend that you stay home. Just Go Tours Mauricio
This tour is truly incredible! Justino made sure our family was comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a tailored experience. We traveled with two children and we felt very safe traveling the wild windy roads. This is a must do experience while in Madeira!
We had the best time visiting the west of Madeira with Nuno. This man has some serious driving skills! The short cuts were epic. Thank you for giving us some great memories. Highly recommend this company
I highly recommend this way of seeing more of Madeira. It's adventurous, fun, entertaining and informative. Our guide, Felipe was excellent. His outstanding people skills, sense of humour and banter made the day a memorable one. We travelled westwards past Camara do Lobos and other seaside towns to Porto Moniz and then headed to the black sandy beach of Seixal, stopping for some Madeira wine and poncha at Sao Vicente. You get a new perspective of this magnificent island with its microclimates, varying terrains and ever-changing vegetation.
Our guide took us to the standard must see places with no other tourists around with the best views of the island. Thank you!!
Incredible tour, never thought to see so much beauty in this my island paths and beauty hidden in these paths of this paradise, the Just Go Tours complied with everything promised, undercover with all the adrenaline safety was a constant throughout the tour.
Fantastic trip with my family of 3 different generations. Felipe was so friendly and attentive. We loved the trip and being from Madeira, we know most of the common tourist places, but our guide had amazing knowledge and took us to places we had never seen before. Highly recommend
We had an unforgettable day on this Madeira Jeep Tour! Filipe picked us up in the morning and from the first moment, we were already laughing together. The route was a perfect mix of scenic highlights and hidden gems—beautiful mountain roads, peaceful villages, waterfalls, and stunning coastal views. What made it truly special was the warm, open atmosphere and Filipe’s hospitality. He showed us not only the famous spots but also the quieter, more authentic sides of the island. A perfect blend of fun, nature, and local charm!
Nuno our guide was excellent 5 stars for him! We did a Private trip. However the next part is a comment on the company and not on Nuno. Be warned: if you are used to 4x4 trips then one would expect allot of off-roading. This was more a sightseeing tour in a 4x4! Not off-roading. We changed hotels and I could not amend it on the app. I wrote to the tour company x2 and was assured that they have our correct address. On the day of, our tour guide was waiting at the old hotel. When I phoned, they sent him to the correct address. However, this meant we only started our trip at 9:45. We lost 45min of our trip. We were not compensated in any way.
