Eko was great. I highly recommend this operator. Communication and timeliness was perfect. We spent half a day visiting borobudur, lunch, and had great coffee at space coffee roastery.

We were in Java from 15 to 21 August 2025. Viky has planned with us every stage (from temples to volcano hikes) giving us good tips on where to stay. Due to an unexpected, Viky could not be our driver but entrusted us to the guys in his team - Eko and Angarra- who were nice and helpful. Jogja Java driver absolutely recommended!

Eko was an amazing driver and took us to all of the places we desired to see. He was helpful at each locations, walking us in and making sure we knew the lay of the land before he left us. A big plus was that he knew and remembered our names throughout the day. Impressive.

Viki is the best driver in Yogyakarta and we are SO happy we found him to take us around! He is incredibly friendly, accomodating and flexible. He spent time explaining Yogyakarta to us, providing us many tips, and answering all of our questions. We really wanted to go to Borobudur and Prambann Temple and he offered other sights to consider as well. My partner and I are big on eating and trying new food and asked him to take us to some of his favorite restaurants - and so our tour turned into a bit of a foodie tour! We tried new and interesting dishes, and he took us to a lot of very local spots that he also really likes himself. They were definitely places we never would have been able to discover if we ventured ourselves. At the end of the trip, around 7/8 hours, he never rushed to take us back or try to end the trip. He continued offering new areas and sights for us to see, and took us to a local Bakpia factory where lots and lots of locals were buying those delicious cakes for cheap. Even after this last spot, he asked if we wanted to go to a few more places to try some more local dishes! He is an incredibly nice and honest driver. We will definitely be recommending Viki to everyone we know and if you need anyone to book, DEFINITELY give Viki a call! He truly is the best :)

My 3 day tour to Yogyakarta, the temples and Mt Merapi with Viki was just the best. Viki gave me an itinerary which included what I asked for along with some surprises. I was also picked up/dropped off from/to the airport. it was also good to have someone recommend a great hotel to stay at being The Phoenix. I spent three days with Viki who is just a pleasant, interesting person to spend some time with whilst showing me around. Viki is reliable, flexible and keeps an eye on his customers to ensure they are ok.

We had the best time exploring Yogya and its region with Vicky, we couldn’t wish for a better driver and a better guide. He took us to very good spots that we would never have discovered on our own! We met Vicky at the airport and during the trip to our hotel we got to know him better. We were still searching for a driver who could bring us to some different spots in Indonesia. Viki made this trip an unforgettable moment. From the beginning, he proved to be very professional, friendly, attentive to our needs and with a good sense of humor that made us laugh several times. Thanks to him, we were able to explore the most beautiful corners of Java discover fantastic places and were able to take the best photo. You know, there are times when you get a really good tour driver. Other times, not so good. Well, with "THIS" Yogyakarta City Tour (Jogja Java Driver), not only was it exceptional but absolutely phenomenal!!! First of all, he communicated very well with me, way before I left home for my trip. He sent follow-up text messages via WhatsApp (for foreigners like myself) to ensure everything would go smoothly even before the tour started. Unfortunately, I got sick so I couldn't do the entire length of the tour (which was a long 12 hours) and asked my driver ("Viki") to take me back to my hotel. As far as business was concerned, the contract was terminated the moment I was brought back to my hotel. Viki, though, was such as good person that he checked up on me every few hours and asked if I needed anything or anything he could do. He doesn't live in Yogyakarta so, I suppose before heading back home, he sent me another text message asking me how I was feeling and to contact him if there was anything he could do. This time, I took him up on his offer! He brought me to an international hospital in Yogyakarta (The hospital had a great service, by the way, with a 30-second waiting time!!!), served as an interpreter as needed, stayed with me for the entire duration of my stay in the hospital (which was already nighttime), and even covered me with a hospital blanket, which I didn't notice, when he saw me using my jacket to keep myself warm (I had a high fever and shivering badly.) When the ordeal was done, he didn't charge me anything. Nothing!!! Only a good, kind, and compassionate person would do what he did. And he didn't stop there! He checked up on me every day until the day I departed. Being a solo traveler far from home (USA), this was a huge deal to me!!! So, is this city tour worth every penny? You darn betcha it is, plus a whole lot more! Having a person like Viki as your driver not only guarantees you have a good time and get to see the things you want to see (Yes, you give him the list of things you want to see and he'll plot a course to those places as effeciently as possible), he also make sure you're doing alright during your stay in Yogyakarta. This driver became a friend to me. And I HIGHLY recommend him to every single one who'd like to have a driver to tour him/her around Yogykarta (or anywhere in Central Java). Oh, he's also a very safe driver so you'd feel comfortable while riding his airconditioned and clean vehicle. So, yes, make a booking with this company/driver. You won't regret it!!!
