This was really enjoyable not what we expected
Brilliant experience. Ida is so personable but also extremely funny. The “onstage” relationship with her husband is hilarious. However do not be fooled as the performance is also very professional. We were a party of six, had front row seats and everyone of us came away loving the time we spent with them. The olive oil, wine and potted history of the concerts location only added to the experience. If you like opera… with a twist just go and have fun.
It was a fascinating experience! The couple made the concert very entertaining. With the music selection, there was something for every taste. They also made an effort to present it in 3 languages (Italian, English, German) so it was understandable for everyone. The experience is highly recommended!
If you're an opera lover and don't have time or tickets for the Arena in Verona during a Lake Garda holiday, then spending a little bit of time with Ida and Stefano is a very enjoyable way to fill the gap. It's great to see something so very different being offered to holidaymakers during the daytime (Thursdays at 1130) and I'd certainly recommend being their guest at the Palazzo Carlotti. Local sparkling vino and nibbles provided afterwards - along with entertaining stories about Ida's career.

This is fantastic a short dip into opera . Ada what a fireball AND Stefan her pianist husband absolutely brilliant. You get a feel for opera funny entertaining lovely voice. Even the Mayor of Garda turned AFTER a little history of the building and the area. And a lovely couple of glasses of a beautiful wine and bread and olive. I would recommend this little jewel on your trip to Garda
Wow! This was an incredible experience and we can’t speak highly enough of the event. Ida and Stephano are the consummate professionals and made opera something we could learn about and appreciate. Ida has an extraordinary personality that shines through her singing and interaction literally with every single audience member. Stephano is a talent on his own and it was lovely to have sections of the performance where the pianist took center stage. Afterward, we had apertifs and were able to engage and ask questions about their individual musical journeys. It was interesting hearing how Stephano was from a family of bakers and was given a guitar age 10 but the local convent could only teach piano! Lucky for us! We also appreciated the late morning performance as it was a perfect mid day activity that allowed us to continue with the rest of the afternoon. The Palace Calotti was also a great setting. Well worth the price and will do it again of in the area. Wonderful people and a highlight of our Italian journey!! You will be so glad should you decide to add this as a memory to your Italy adventures!
A very enjoyable way to spend time, singing and playing was first rate . The historical background was interesting and we appreciated the olive oil and rose wine.
An engaging and entertaining concert. A warm and entertaining show with audience interaction & a little audience participation.
