We had a fantastic day with Filippo. He picked us up directly at the port, with good communication ahead of the tour. We decided to start our tour early (7:30 am) to beat the crowds, and I think it worked out well. We arrived to Savoca and were one of the first people there. We took a TukTuk up to the church and around to see the hills. We then were able to get a nice table at Bar Vitelli for a little snack, and do a little shopping. As we were leaving, the cruise tour buses started arriving. We then headed to Taormina, where we had some free time to shop, see the sights, and then we ate at a nice restaurant for lunch he recommended. It had a beautiful terrace and view and a menu with pasta, pizza, etc. Service was good and it was a nice break from the heat. We then carried on to Messina, saw the cathedral and stopped for some cannoli right by the port, which was delicious. It was a fantastic day for my family and both my teenagers and my parents enjoyed the day.

Amazing! So fun, informative and a perfect adventure for all of us. The tour operators were like family by the end. Any day enough good things about this experience! Do it!!!
