Great tour and beautiful hike, but the instructions were extremely vague and we missed our original time so we had to wait 30 minutes to start in the heat.

Gaitanejo Power Station

Unbelievable!
Recommends a guide. Learn so much about the trail. It can get crowded in some places! Use good shoes, not sandals

Magnificent and original hike, I recommend testing this adventure, superb landscapes.

Incredible Caminito del Ray!
Fabulous area of natural beauty, stunning views and a fantastic walk above a picturesque gorge! Signposting and directions were poor and so many folk seemed lost in finding the ‘meeting point’ which is a good mile walk from drop off point. Here it was rushed and we were herded off once helmets handed out and then disappointed to find we had no guide or audio- this did however, suit us, as we followed the crowd at our own pace and took in the natural beauty which was incredible! So glad we did this, and without a guide, from coach drop off to the very end, approx 5miles took us just over 2 hours and we loved it

Need to know information before planning
I would really recommend doing this hike but do note there is a pretty long walk to get to the meeting point , not much guidance at the entrance and then no guidance on how to get the shuttle back to the limited parking area 30 minutes away. Otherwise great experience.

It was a bit tricky to...
It was a bit tricky to find the place to meet the guide. You have to walk abort 15 minutes after you've parked your car. No information on the direction, but you have to trust the GPS.

Guided tour, but not in French, which made it impossible to follow the explanations. Beautiful route.
