Wonderful full day with lots to see. The tallest building to take photos of Nairobi. The bead factory and great stop for lunch. The amazing cultural dance experience. Our guide Denis was professional and friendly and gave us lots of of wonderful information.
Denish curated our tour both based on the weather and what we had already seen. He’s knowledgeable about Nairobi and Kenya and connected us with great guides at the National Museum and the Snake park. The view from the top of the conference center was great and Denish added information not just of the surrounding area and local current events. Ceramic bead production and glass bead work was interesting. Lunch was great- home style buffet. The troupe of dancers at the Maasai Market were great!!!! The dancers and the drummers performed a variety of dances from all over Kenya . Each dance was explained which really helped us appreciate it more The shops were all nice and I did buy a few things Denish tells a good intermittent narrative as you drive around and answered all our questions

This was a great first excursion for my time in Nairobi. Our tour guides Dennis and Purity were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This was a private tour which facilitated our guides being very attentive to our needs and answering all of our questions. The museum and their guides were very informative, the women at Kobe Strong showed great talent in their bead and leather work, and the Kaboma Cultural Dancers were engaging and extremely fun. This was definitely a great experience for the price.
I and my wife just did the Nairobi Cultural & Historical City Tour with Mr. Dennish Aoka and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Kenya. This wasn’t just a tour. It felt like being welcomed into Nairobi by family. *Highlights of the tour:* 1. *City Center & Historical Landmarks* — Dennish walked me through the CBD and the Nairobi City and told the story of how Nairobi grew from the railway. His storytelling made history feel alive. 2. *National Museum with Mr. Solomon* — This was so special. Mr. Solomon was an incredible guide. He took time to explain Kenya’s tribes, culture, and heritage. The most memorable part? He gave me a Kenyan name based on my personality: *Lenana*. I was so honored. 3. *KICC Rooftop* — Breathtaking views of the whole city. Dennish pointed out neighborhoods and shared stories behind them. 4. *Kobe Tough* — Loved learning about the beadwork and the women behind the brand and the communities they support. Had a great shopping here too. 5. *Maasai Market & Kaboma Cultural Dancers* — The energy was unmatched! I shopped for clothing and crafts, and the highlight was dancing alongside the *Kaboma Cultural dancers*. I even made friends with some of them. We were laughing and dancing like we’d known each other for years. 6. *Lunch* — And yes, lunch was sweet! Tried authentic local food and it was the perfect way to end the cultural immersion. *About my guides:* Mr. Dennish Aoka is warm, knowledgeable, and so proud of Nairobi. He made me feel safe and welcomed the entire day. Mr. Solomon at the museum made the history personal — giving me the name *Lenana* is something I’ll carry with me forever. * If you want to _feel_ Nairobi — the history, the food, the music, and the people — do this tour with a local guide. I left with knowledge, a new Kenyan name, new friends, great food, and memories I’ll never forget. Highly recommended! *

My wife and I took this tour in June 2026. Our tour guide was Dennis, and Dennis was awesome. He made sure that we had a great experience. All parts of the tour were entertaining and informative, but the Masai dancers were the best part of the whole day. They had a joyful way about them that summed up everything about the day, from the fight for independence, to the struggles of a young nation, to the hopes for Kenya's future. It was beautiful in a way that is difficult to put into words. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and I would be sure to request Dennis as your tour guide. .
