Excellent experience. Got a walkthrough of the market, got to try some local market snacks. Learned to make 3 dishes, learned about Korean culture, definitely a core memory. Highly recommend. Thank you Sarah, for the brilliant experience.

Junghee is an excellent host and she made learning about Korean cuisine a truly fun, delicious, and nurturing (in every sense ;) experience! Going through the market and learning from ingredients before even start using them was amazing, and the fact that she opens her own home to you is incredibly generous. Definitely one the top highlights from our trip to Korea! 100% recommended!

It was a very fun cooking class. Junghee made the experience personable, getting to know each participant, shared Korean foods from the market, teaching us Korean words and culture. More importantly, the food was delicious with a few ingredients. I probably cooked the best chicken in my life 😋

This was by far the best things I did during my trip yo Seoul!! It was so interesting to experience another culture and to learn so much. My husband never took a cooking class before this and he loved it too🫶🏼 I live on Hawaii and I’ve been on a lot of tours, but this by far was one of the best things I’ve done.

Wow and wow! Our cooking class with Hello K was one of the highlights of our time in Korea. Our hostess/teacher prepared a delicious meal that thoughtfully accommodated a variety of dietary needs and preferences. She was cheerful, relatable, and incredibly approachable, making the entire experience relaxed and fun. We learned a few Korean words, discovered fascinating Korean food traditions, and enjoyed cooking alongside someone who shared her knowledge and culture like a friend. We all left happy, very full, and grateful for such a memorable experience. We highly recommend the Hello K cooking class to anyone visiting Korea!

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Seoul! Sarah is not only knowledgeable but her passion for food and meeting people shines through. The walk through the market at the beginning was a great introduction to local produce and the cooking class was executed perfectly. Everything was easily explained and all our dishes came out well and we're delicious! Everything is easy to recreate back home too. Highly recommend the excursion!

Wow, do not miss! this ! Sarah is fantastic, informative, educational and entertaining. We love going to her class. The meeting place was not too bad (allow extra time) and Sarah was very together: the market tour was extremely interesting and the actually cooking was great. Seriously do not miss.

This cooking class was one of my very favorite things I did during my 9 days in Seoul. I've only ever taken one other cooking class (in Japan), and this was definitely the better of the two: it included a market tour (where Junghee/Sarah bought us delicious melon popsicles to counteract the mid-90s heat) and we made 4 dishes. It was more food than most of us could finish! Junghee was an incredibly engaging guide and instructor, keeping us all attentive despite the heat while we were in the market and while we cooked our dishes in her (very well air-conditioned) home. Junghee was also very gracious about accommodating my vegetarianism and inability to eat mushrooms; my dishes were delicious even without meat. (Just make sure you give her a heads-up when you register!) She shared the recipes with us after class, and I'm looking forward to making them now that I'm home.
