You get picked up and be driven to different attractions and then there’s a guide waiting for you there for each attractions. We had 1-1.5 hours at each attraction. It’s worth it to be starting so early, you avoid the crowds. It didn’t feel rush but we would appreciate having more time. Our driver Arafat was nice, didn’t talk much English, didn’t talk much with us, which was what we preferred. But gave us snacks sometimes. The car was very nice, everything went smoothly. Guides are of different qualities, some talks fast, some funny, some very passionate. But none of them expected tips from us. The lunch was all Egyptian food, taste good:)
<p>This was a fabulous tour with Mohammed. He was friendly, knowledgeable and I felt like I was being well looked after the whole time. I was travelling on my own with not much time so this tour was an excellent option to see many of the major temples Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae plus go all the way to Abu Simbel. It's a long way but so worth it. The drive along the Nile in the early morning was beautiful and the drivers on both days were superb. The Aswan Dam and its history and significance to Egypt were fascinating and Mohammed was able to answer my questions without trouble. We caught the train from Aswan back to Luxor which gave us a break from driving and gave me a chance to see a little bit of local life. Pick ups, drop offs, hotel and meals all went like clockwork. I would definitely recommend this tour.</p>
