We had an incredible experience whilst in Pokhara with our guide Thupten. We were new to many concepts in Tibetan Buddhism and culture and through his tour we had interesting discussions with both him and the local community. It really was an experience that broadened my mind and left me wanting to know more. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to learn about Buddhism and Tibet.

It was a an excellent tour, especially for those who are new to Tibetan Buddhism and the situation of Tibetan refugees. It was very informative with lots of interesting activities. Thupten was an excellent guide; he explained things very clearly and was very engaging. We enjoyed the prayer chanting. The breakfast was great with delicious homemade bread. We found it very interesting talking with a young monk. Thoroughly recommend the morning tour - or any of Thupten’s tours.

The experience featured joining Tibetan Buddhist monks in the morning while they chanted, then eating a local breakfast in a Tibetan home, meeting with a monk to hear his life story, and touring around Tibetan settlement villages. Lunch was also delicious.

We had a beautiful morning learning about Tibetan culture and history with Thupten. We highly recommend booking one of his tours. He was very knowledgeable and the tour allowed us to have traditional breakfast at a Tibetan family home, attend morning prayer and chanting with Monks, and speak 1:1 with a monk about his life experiences. 5 stars! A must-do activity when visiting Pokhara that is suitable in any weather. Booking was really easy through WhatsApp.

This is an amazing tour. To explore and understand Tibetan culture and settlement in Pokhara. Visiting the Tibetan village and tried out their food. It brings you so close to their daily life and cultural. The guide, Mr Thupten provided a fascinating insights into the history and significance of each sites, making the experience even more meaningful. A wonderful experience! A total immersion in Tibetan culture with our guide Thupten. It's definitely worth a visit with Thupten a well of knowledge and a real passion for sharing ... we started our visit with morning prayer in a Tibetan Buddhist temple! An unforgettable sensation!

Thupten was a very informational guide and was extremely hospitable. His deep knowledge of tibetan culture and buddhism was eye opening, and changed my outlook on life. I have gained a greater understanding of tebetan culture, and I have agained a deeper appreciation for the lifestyle and history of Tibet. His fluency in english made the entire experience easily digestible, and he too is well equipped with a wealth of knowledge to satisfy all the questions we had along the way. Thank you for the enjoyable experience. It is definitely a must go for all that are looking to visit Pokhara to immerse yourselves in the rich culture as majestic as the mountains flanking the region.

This tour was amazing! I read about it in the lonely planet and was looking for some cultural thing to do around Pokhara so went by there office and booked the morning tour for the next day. Thupten, the guide, was just wonderful. He was able to tell me a lot of things about the history of Tibet, current situation and Buddhism in general. I didn’t expect a lot but got one of the best tours I have ever done. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for cultural education about Tibet and Buddhism.
