The tour was super fun and exceeded our expectations. There were stories and history shared along with humor, acting and some music and singing. The staff was fantastic and they have a really cool gift shop too!
So glad you had a great time!
I thought it was pretty cheesy and didn’t really say anything about the actual ghost stories. Poor actors jumping on board at a few places didn’t really do anything for us.
I’m sorry you did not enjoy the tour as everyone else has. There are many ghost stories told during the tour so not sure what you mean in your review or what you were expecting.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the cast. However, it was hard to see the sights because of the dark. Leaving a little earlier might be a better experience.
Thank you glad you enjoyed the tour. For nighttime tours it’s more about the experience of the performers onboard because it is dark. Please consider coming on our daytime sightseeing tours where the focus is on the places we visit and their histories,
They always provide such an fun experience! This is our 3rd trolley tour and we've enjoyed every one of them! The cast is always talented, engaging and fun!
Thank you! We are so pleased that you’ve experienced three tours and loved them all!
The Haunted Sarasota Trolley tour was absolutely delightful! The professional entertainment was unexpected and was theater quality! The local history was fascinating to learn. Some of my friends who are lifelong residents were intrigued by the new knowledge from the troupe of actors. Bravo! I'd also like to give a shout out to Elizabeth Pickett Gray for organizing this!
The whole trip was fun and unexpected. The “ghost” visits were well done. Living in Sarasota I never knew alot of the things the tour showed us. It was great!
Cute Would like all guests to receive a drink before boarding even if only 15 mins before boarding trolly Was a bit expensive
All guests DO receive free beer or wine before boarding. It is part of the tour but you have to arrive at 7pm as directed because the bar closes at 7:50 so we can board. Did you arrive late?
My husband and I love the Haunted Sarasota tour. It is so entertaining and interesting. Lady Melody is the tour guide and shares the fascinating macabre haunted history of Sarasota. Additional actors join the trolley at various stops in Sarasota, and they provide fabulous entertainment with a great sense of humor. Lady Melody will occasionally break into song, and without a doubt, she is a professionally trained singer with a voice that would be right at home on Broadway. Kudos to Tammy Hauser, the founder of Discover Sarasota Tours. I cannot imagine the work and complexity of putting together these tours. She does it seamlessly. They are so much fun, you don't want the tour to end. We are looking forward to our next tour.
Thank you for this wonderful review and for enjoying our tours. We are delighted you came!
WE had a good time. My husband and I have been in Sarasota since 1981 and knew a lot about the different areas we traveled in for the Ghost tour, but we defiantly learned more things about our great town of Sarasota. And it was fun with our 3 tours guides on this tour. I would highly recommend this to others.
It was fun to learn about sarasota history. It was full of laughs and lots of new knowledge. I took my family with me and we enjoyed the time. The only thing as I’m a bigger lady is seat areas were little small
