A very nice full day tour of Travnik, Jajce and Pliva lakes. We had a highly knowledgeable guide, Robert, and wonderful driver for the day. Very accommodating and flexible with schedule and unexpected situations including the weather. Ensured we were spending the right amount of time at each stop. The long day is broken up with numerous stops if and when needed. Lunch restaurant recommendation was excellent. Highly recommend Funky Tours and our guide and driver.

Very interesting day exploring all aspects of the areas. Knowledgeable guide who gave us lots of inform on the recent history of the Balkan countries and 199O ‘s war. So much to see, couldn’t pick a favourite as everything was very good.

We had wonderful experience and the guide Tareq is awesome. The falls are mind blowing and water mills is a different experience. I recommend this tour to all nature lovers

This is a great day trip from Sarajevo. You can learn a lot of history and see some beautiful places. Nice to get out of the city!

I had an unforgettable trip! Stefan was an outstanding guide — he shared so much fascinating history about each stop and made it all come alive. He also pointed us toward fantastic restaurants, cozy cafés, and the most breathtaking viewpoints, even offering smart little tips, like which side of the train gives the best views on the way to Mostar. He was warm, easygoing, and a joy to spend the day with. It truly felt like discovering a new place alongside a friend who knows every hidden gem. Funky Tours and Stefan are absolutely worth booking if you want a fun, insightful, and memorable experience!

This was probably my favourite day in Bosnia. It was a longish day but worth it to see Travnik, Jajce and the Pliva lakes - I had been keen to do this tour since my first visit to Sarajevo some years ago. We were just 4 travellers and I found it a really friendly and interesting group. Elma was a great guide - I found her storytelling so engaging, from medieval history to more recent times. I had been particularly excited about seeing Travnik and it didn't disappoint. The town itself is in a beautiful setting with little houses dotted across the hills, but the mosque was a particular highlight with its unusual decoration on the outside and beautiful colours. We had lunch in Travnik and discovered that the town is justly famed for its cevapi served in the fluffiest bread. After lunch we were able to visit the inside of the mosque which was really the icing on the cake. We then moved onto Jajce with its waterfalls and very interesting history, once again brought to life by Elma's explanations. I found it all fascinating: the fort, the church/mosque, the underground church etc, etc. After a welcome cup of tea we moved onto the Pliva watermills and then drove back to Sarajevo. As I mentioned, a longish day, but well worth it! I did this and another tour with Funky Tours (Belgrade to Sarajevo) and I really recommend them. The tour guides were fantastic, and I was also really grateful to Edna and others in the office for patiently asking my various questions from the planning stages of my trip. Thank you!

I had an amazing time, i met some interesting guests that had wonderful stories to share. Elma was a really good tour guide. She explained the history of medieval bosnia so well and she explained other historical periods well. I liked all the guests on tour and grateful to share and exchange life stories with them. I think out of all the times I have been with funky tours, this was the best one by far.

We had a pleasant day. Elma , our guide , was very explanatory and attentive to all our questions . She was very friendly and always patient. Thank you again for his kindness.

The drive as well as the visit of the various places is highly recommended for any person who likes nature, history and cuisine.
