The glacier is even more beautiful up close. Julio the guide on the ice was great :) thanks for thanking my photos and lending me extra gloves!
My advise wrap up warm, gloves required
They issue the helmet and crampons for you
You have a bit of time to do the walk ways and grab some food when you arrive.

Mini trekking, great experience.
A very complete experience, it allows you to experience the glacier from various perspectives. The guides who accompany you on the glacier always seek the well-being and enjoyment of the participants.

Jaw dropping. Mesmerizing.

A must do if you are in El Calafate!
It was absolutely amazing! It was an easy hike, total time on ice about over an hour. Guide was very knowledgeable, let us have picture stops at several points during the hike. It was my first time being so close to the glacier, crevices, sink holes. Total hike was about 3 hours. A little surprise at the end of hike: whisky with glacial ice (or water if you prefer) was served at the end.

My wife is scared of heights and has had extensive foot surgery.
