ポエナリ要塞、トゥルゴヴィシュテ王子宮廷＆スナゴフ修道院

Romania is a beautiful country. This is a wonderful way to experience it's beauty! Petruț (Pedro) was a wonderful guide! He kept us laughing and answered all of our questions eagerly! If he was unsure of an answer he would research and find out. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch along the way that had a great variety of delicious food. He was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide and companion for the day. I absolutely loved all of the attractions! I do have one complaint but it is not about our guide or Viator. I was a little disappointed with the choice of music playing at Poenari Citadel. It is my own opinion of course but the music was very distracting to the experience. I still enjoyed it though so very much and just tuned it out. Târgoviște & Snagov Monastery were both absolutely incredible as well! (No hokey music playing. Lol) Over all 5 star and our guide was fantastic!

It was our first time in Romania and we wanted to see Vlad the Impalers real castle which is Poenari. Our guide and driver Pedro arrived at our hotel on time and took us to the castle and accompanied us up the 1480 steps. The views from the top were beautiful and the castle ruins were astonishing to see. Pedro then took us to view the dam and explained how it worked. Then we headed to the old capital Targoviste for a yummy lunch break and we walked it off at the Royal Court. Ended the day with a quick stop at Snagov monastery before we headed back to Bucharest. It was a long day in the car but Pedro had such a positive attitude and fun personality. This experience was well worth it. Thanks Pedro!

Although our tour was with an English-speaking guide (we couldn't find one in Spanish for that day), he tried very hard to give us the tour in Spanish, which we loved. (We don't understand much English). Good service, the tour is highly recommended and a good price.

Our trip to Poenari Fortress was fantastic! Our guide Valerio was friendly and energetic. Thank you for driving us to many great sites. We look forward to visiting and learning more about România’s culture and historic sites!

I only had a few days in Bucharest, so I booked this trip to get the "real" Dracula experience visiting some authentic sites involving Vlad Dracula. I had an absolutely wonderful time with the tour guide Claudia, who from the time I was picked up at my hotel to drop off gave me a full education on the history of Vlad Dracula including his father. This really gave me an appreciation for the sites visited, especially Poenari Fortress. There is a lot of driving from Bucharest but the sites are worth it. And like I said, Claudia was such a pleasure to talk to, so the full day went by quickly. I walked away with a greater appreciation for Romanian legend and even modern Romania's current socio and economic state. Note, we did stop a few times for toilets and snacks as well as one lunch stop at the base of the Poenari Fortress, so no need to bring a packed lunch if you want to wait. I will caution that the hike up to Poenari is about 1400 steps up and incline for the most part, so definitely be ready for this physical feature before signing up for this tour. Overall, give Claudia and her tour a shot, you won't regret it!

What an amazing experience. Sebastian, was our contact and guide for the experience. From the moment we booked, Sebastian was in contact with us to go over the itinerary and kept in touch until the time of our tour. We even needed a special accomodation to align with our holiday plans and it was easily planned and managed. There was no hidden fees or gotchas. The morning we left he was already at the hotel and waiting. The vehicle was clean and it great condition with plenty of space. Going into our trip he made sure we were comfortable, and had adequate stops. While visiting the locations he was extremely knowledgeable, and gave plenty of history and facts with ease. We had no trouble with any language barriers and he made the day fantastic and memorable. Would definitely book his services again and highly recommend this company.

Nice places, the best guide Bogdan, all was all right on our tour. We was satisfacted and rrcomend it.

The whole complex represents immense historical value for the nation. For fans like me then of the figure of Vlad the impaler and 'a place to visit absolutely. I also recommend to visit the attached park (with the busts of the other rulers) and still see the whole town of Targoviste. Wonderful guide, and expert tour of Vlad’s castle and court in Wallachia. We had a fantastic guide and excellent driver who showed us so many beautiful and interesting sites. There is so much to experience in this lovely area. Also amazing value for a long tour that covers a lot of ground. Highly recommended!

The Royal court is amazing! Poenari Citadel is awe inspiring. Be ready to climb stairs. There is actually concrete stairs with railings for the walk. Highly recommend this tour.
