They were supposed to pick us up at 7 PM, and we waited for the transport until 7:55 PM. We had to pay for a round-trip taxi and the meal at Carnívora, even though we had already paid for the reservation in advance. Very bad.
Very wonderful experience Unending dining experience with pleasant staff. A definite must do in Nairobi!
A coworker and I enjoyed this experience. We got to try a variety of meets that we don’t often encounter including ostrich meatballs, crocodile, lamb, and several others. Friendly staff.
The Carnivore is a must do when in Nairobi. Great all you can eat meat plus dessert. Driver got me safely to and from the restaurant quickly.
It was an awesome experience! Don’t miss it if you are in Nairobi. The driver John was very helpful, good driver and share great local knowledge.
I give this a bad rating because of the tour operator and not based on the restaurant!!! My pickup time was 19:00, the tour operator did not contact me before to acknowledge or confirm who would be picking me up. At 19:24 the driver appeared at the reception. On the way he was asking me questions like he didn’t know what he was supposed to do. And at last I felt like he was rushing me into the experience as he had something else to do. At the end he decided to arrange through the company to send a replacement driver for him. The replacement turned out to be very nice and hospitable but the 1st guy f*cked up the whole experience
We booked the meal and transfers through viator and we were not disappointed. Our driver Francis turned up smartly dress in suit and dickie bow. He was also polite and informative. The car he arrived in was a luxury vehicle. We felt quite special. The Carnivore atmosphere is amazing. The food is also amazing. 2 hours of non stop food. Drinks are quite reasonable. Must try the Darwa cocktails which is said to originate from the Carnivore restaurant.
Amazing food, new tastes, just Devine! I would definitely come back to Carnivore. Great food and exceptional service. The guide take tool me to the restaurant, Julius, was so lovely and kind.
