歴史、文化、自然ツアーでは、ニズワを発見する 1 日を過ごします。ニズワは 500 年前にはオマーンの首都であり、2015 年にはイスラム文化の首都でした。ニズワの古代市場と次の市場の間のツアーにご案内します。ニズワ市場へ ニズワの砦と城 砦は 1649 年に建てられ、城は 888 年に建てられ、現在は博物館になっています。 ニズワからは、アル ハジャール山脈の麓に位置する 3000 年の歴史を持つミスファット アル アブリエン村へ向かい、そこからジャバル シャムス (オマーンのグランド キャニオン) までドライブします。エキサイティングなオフロードと美しい景色を楽しみます。

有名なニズワ市場（スーク）を訪れます。スークの通りでは、多種多様な業者が商品を提供しています。ここからは、野菜、陶器、宝石、手工芸品、オマーンのお菓子（ハルワ）、ナツメヤシ、お土産など、自慢できる場所が少ない本格的な古い市場ホールで販売されています。特に興味深いのは、近くの村から地元の人々がサーカス風のオープンマーケットでヤギ、ウシ、ヒツジ、ニワトリを売りに来る金曜日の牛市場です。 ご注意：マスカットに滞在し、牛の市場を捕まえる場合は、午前05:30に開始する必要がありますので、ご予約後にご連絡いただくか、特別なリクエストフォームにその旨をお知らせください。
スークの隣にはニズワ要塞があります。この要塞は現在博物館になっており、この古代の町と周囲の山々の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。この印象的な要塞内を歩き回って、その多くの部屋、通路、塔を訪れることができます。 17 世紀半ばからのヤルバ王朝初期の経済的および軍事的成果を示す建築的証拠であり、当時最も強力な攻撃にも耐えられるよう設計された軍事拠点であり、廊下沿いにも侵入者を阻止するために多くの罠が仕掛けられていました。それが防御を突破した可能性があります。
ニズワから私たちはミスファ アル アブリーンまで車で行きます。この絵のように美しい村はジェベル シャムスの麓の急な斜面にあり、古い家と狭い通りで構成されています。多くの果樹園、ナツメヤシ、野菜を栽培するファラジ システムがあります。時間をかけて村を散策してみるのもいいでしょう。その後、古代都市アル ハムラを訪れる旅を続けましょう。 そこから車でマスカットに戻ります
その後、ジャバル シャムス山 (グランド キャニオン) に向けてドライブします。この山道は標高 3,009 メートルのジェベル シャムス山まで続きます。この山はオマーンで最も冒険的な山の 1 つであり、既存のオフロード体験と素晴らしい景色を提供し、峡谷の景色に到達します。 2000メートル地点で立ち止まり、景色と写真を楽しみます。

Really cool place to visit. What I really liked about this market was that it wasn't packed. You could actually move freely - except when you were in the DATES section as the cash registers were not the best situated - but they were fast. The merchandise is better than other markets - not as commercial. The vendors were really kind and helpful. The animal market was fun to watch! The pottery was amazing!! The Fort was really interesting...lots of steps - wear good shoes. It's been well preserved and the people are very proud of it.

What a wonderful day! Fahad arrived at our Airbnb promptly and drove us in air conditioned comfort to the various stops on the tour. Nizwa souq, fort and castle - so interesting and full of history. Fahad knew even more than the information provided at the sites. He didn't rush us when we may have spent more time at the souq than allocated lol. Lunch was at a roadside Yemeni restaurant - delicious. Then on to Jebel Shams, Al Hamra and Misfat Al Abriyeen. Fahad knows so much about Oman's culture and history, and was happy to share it all with us. The stops were fascinating and Fahad took a lot of photos for us and with us. It was an incredible day.
