朝はマスカットを出発してワディ・バニ・アウフに向かいます。道路はワディを通り抜け、印象的なワディ・キャニオン（スネーク・キャニオン）といくつかの小さな村々を通り過ぎます。最も美しい村は、東のアル・ハジャル山脈に位置するバラッド・セイトです。
そこからナカールへのツアーを続け、美しいナカール要塞を訪れることができます。広大なナツメヤシのプランテーションが生い茂る素敵な小さな町の山麓にあり、1500年の歴史を持つこの壮大な要塞は山の岩からそびえ立ち、その不吉な強さをまだ攻撃者に警告するかのように古代の村の上に高くそびえ立ち、多くの戦いを目撃し、隠された脱出路や秘密の通路でいっぱいです。この復元された要塞の内部を散策し、元の古い様式で素敵に装飾されたすべての部屋を訪れることができます。山と緑のナツメヤシのプランテーションを見渡す要塞の頂上からの眺めは抜群です。
ナハル城から温泉へ向かいます。温泉はナハル城から数キロ離れたナツメヤシ畑の中にひっそりと佇んでおり、敷地内のプールで集められた温かいミネラルウォーターが一年中湧き出ています。プールの近くの「ピクニックエリア」には椅子や日陰がいくつか用意されています。 温泉からマスカットまで車で戻ります。

Exciting mixture. Nakhal fort interesting and well presented. Hot springs for paddling not swimming but enjoyable. Wadi ban awef amazing so inspiring. The trip through the mountains were rather bumpy but awesome scenery. Felt very safe with our drivers who were delightful and spoke good English. Good light lunch at a newish hotel overlooking the old village. All in all a great day in Oman.

Excellent day trip with our driver guide Ali, very competent and very helpful. The planned program was respected with the exception of Fort Nakhal, which is under construction. Ali let us walk in the beautiful village of Balad Sayt and its gardens, get out of the vehicle to take pictures. We ended the program with an excellent lunch where we discovered the typical dish of Oman: shuwa (lamb cooked over low heat very long). I strongly recommend this exit.
