Akhtar was an exceptional driver and a very good guide, filled us with lots of knowledge about certain landmarks on Qatar as we were on our way to the desert. We took a 1 year old with us and he loved it, akhtar also kept making sure we were good. Would recommend anyone to do on the night one and ask for akhtar
We had Rizwan as our driver & guide. What a fabulous man he is. We found him to be very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. Four wheel driving in the dunes in pitch black darkness was a blast. Rizwans driving skills were impeccable. We are lucky to have him as our guide again for our next adventure.
Overall, the experience was good. Our guide was very good at drifting and driving through the desert, so if you enjoy that kind of thing, it’s a great experience. We didn’t book the quad bike, but we did book the hotel pickup. They asked us if we could make our way to the meeting point, so I’m not sure if they weren’t aware that we had booked hotel pickup. In the end, they arrived about 30 minutes late. Apart from that, the guide was very friendly and welcoming.
Akhtar is very friendly and does not hesitate to share more about the different landmarks in Qatar. We really enjoyed our time in the desert as we managed to see many beautiful stars in the night sky. This is really suitable for anyone looking to have a thrilling ride across the desert and is definitely value for money. We spent around 30minutes there and Akhtar offered to take some pictures for us. The beach was pretty empty and only us and another 2 tourists were there for the experience.
Shamar akh our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. He communicated well in english. He explained everything in detail, and was skilled at driving as well. Highlight of the trip was the star gazing and camel ride

Akhtar!!! Akhtar!!! Akhtar!!!! Was an excellent guide. He treated my family with respect and gave us a tour that my family really enjoyed. Great desert bashing. Very exciting. His vehicle was clean and ready for a fun ride… it was a night tour and as you can’t see the desert much our far… you still get to enjoy the desert sky, lights in the distance, enjoyable air and no direct sunlight…. The calmed and desert boarding were a nice touch in between 4x4 in the desert dunes. Thanks again Akhtar. Ask for him by name….

We rode camels, sledded down a tall sand dune and went dune bashing after dark, which was both exciting and a little terrifying. We finished at the beautiful Inland Sea under an almost full moon. The tour lasted about 3½ hours from hotel pickup to return and packed a lot into the evening without feeling rushed. We really enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely recommend the tour and Akhtar.
