We weren’t sure if we wanted to do this trip because of the travel time to/from, but really glad we did. Meteora was really an unbelievable place. Our driver/guide was great and we were able to visit 4 of the 6 monasteries and have a nice early dinner in the nearby town. Great!

We booked private day tours to both Meteora and Delphi. On both trips we had Andreas as our driver. He was an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge on both current and historical events. He also recommended what stops we need to do first to save time and be able to see more with the limited time we had. He made our long trips fun. He also gave us a tour of the coastline which was never mentioned in any of the trips. Thank you Andreas for a wonderful experience.

This company canceled one week prior to the scheduled date because they had no other travelers for this tour. I had extended my time in Greece specifically for the scheduled tour to Meteora with the battlefield & cave stops. I was able to book with another company at the last minute & had a great experience. However I had to book a tour traveling by train with no other stops.

Meteora was amazing! Glykeria was very friendly. However, we had 4 people in our group and were picked up in a sedan. It was very cramped traveling this way when going 4 hours each way. A minivan would’ve been better.

We were picked up on time by Zacharias Vardakis. We requested a modification on our trip & he fulfilled this. He was knowledgeable about the history of Athens & surrounding areas. We felt like he gave more than what he was supposed to as our driver. We had a great time with Zacharias. Felt safe around him & his driving skills was safe. Ilias was a very friendly driver and was very accommodating! One of our passengers has issues walking and was unable to handle the stairs at Meteora so Ilias stayed with him while the rest of us did the tour. Meteora itself was beautiful and is a must see for anyone in the area. The four hour drive did not feel like four hours and Ilias made us as comfortable as possible on the ride there and back. The ride would’ve been slightly more comfortable in a van since there were 4 of us but the car worked fine! It was surprisingly roomy. Definitely would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see meteora within a day trip.

This private booking on Meteora trip is highly recommended. Do not book on big tour groups. Although the trip is a long drive with a driver to take you from Hotel to Kalambaka. Those monasteries and King Leonidas monument are a must to see outside Athens Greece. Our Driver, Angelo is very friendly, accomodating and excellent driver. We had a pleasant tour.

Highly recommended! Driver George is the best. Very professional and friendly. Meteora is a must-see!
