Suta was an incredible tour guide. From the start, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He kept the tour at a good pace, made sure to show me everything and kept me safe from the monkeys!! Would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Suta!

Good
The temple is beautiful. Kecak dance with sunset view was a very unique experience. We had our guide suta - who took us to white monkey to feed him and another spot to take photos. He also managed to find a spot for us for the kecak dance.
I was expecting to hear more about the temple history from our guide. But I did not hear anything on that. I would also blame it on me because Due to a major road accident near the temple area, we reached there at 5pm and by the time we entered it was 5 20pm .. I still would have loved to hear something about the temple..which was a little disappointing.

Sunset in Uluwatu
We had a great time here! Budi was helpful from the beginning. He came prepared with the ransom bananas for the monkeys and we didn't lost anything during the tour. He knows the place well and gave perfect spots for our photos. Overall, we enjoyed the visit and the tour.

Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Fire Dance
Uluwatu Temple is beautiful. The guide Wayan Netra was waiting at the temple entrance with my name; he take excellent pictures from me, explaining the site's history and pointing out the best photo spots. He was very careful around the monkeys and helped some tourists who had their glasses snatched, managing to get them back in exchange for some monkey treats. At the end, he even gave me water to drink while watching the sunset performance at Kecak fire dance.

Enjoyable Dance, but Disappointing Overall Experience
To be honest, I was expecting more from both the temple experience and the guide.
The temple itself was quite underwhelming, with not much to see or learn about apart from the beautiful sunset and the monkeys. Unfortunately, the guide did not add much value to the experience. His main role seemed to be keeping the monkeys away, and the only information he provided was that the temple had been built many years ago. I would have appreciated more historical and cultural information about the temple and its significance.
The meeting time was 5:30 PM, but we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the other members of the group to arrive. Considering the limited information provided by the guide, I felt that I could have simply purchased a ticket at the counter and visited the temple independently without a guide.
The dance performance itself was good and enjoyable. However, I would recommend reading the story beforehand, as it can be difficult to understand what is happening during the performance without some background knowledge.
The organisation for entering the dance venue could also be improved. Everyone was trying to enter at the same time, which created a very chaotic situation, with people pushing and rushing to get good seats. A more organised entry system, such as having people queue or assigning seats, would make the experience much more comfortable.
Overall, while the sunset and dance performance were enjoyable, I felt that the temple visit, guiding experience, and organisation could have been much better.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the crowd situation at the Kecak performance entrance. As a local operator, we do not have the authority to make infrastructure or system improvements. However, we will certainly share this issue with The Kecak Dance management. Your tip about reading the performance storyline beforehand will be very helpful for future visitors.
