Communication with the provider and with the driver was excellent. Driver in time and friendly. Recommended for cruise passengers.
Make sure to book in advanced and establish pick up locations. Slightl miscommunication between the driver swap/pick up from our initial drop off. But everything ended up working out nicely.
Our driver was very nice and accommodating as we had to cut our day out short due to a family member becoming poorly. The price is very exaggerated, we paid 135€ for 3 of us but could have got a local taxi for maximum 80€ Had the price been fair this review would have been very different.
The tour guide was friendly and helpful, pointed us towards where we wanted to go. Gave us good directions for how to get picked up when we were done. Great guy!
Unfortunately when we arrived, the cable car was not operating and we were unable to do the 588 steps or donkey ride. After contacting Viator to explain our predicament, they said they would offer me a full refund. I got it within a week. Very professional.

It wasn’t what i was expecting, I thought it was going to be like a guided tour but all it really was was transportation. And it says it was 3 hrs but we really had 2 hrs to explore Oia. I’m guessing the other hr is for pickup and drop off. For the price and time it just wasn’t really worth it. We could have taken our own taxi and explore for how long we wanted. The description should have been a little bit more clearer
In reality this is a transfer from and to the oia if you read the description it says so in detail.
Viator was represented by the worse tour operator (Pigaia) on Santorini. Noone met us. at the top of the cable car. The Guide arrived late, then took us to wait for transportation and left us on an unsafe corner. A Guide with a different transport logo on his shirt approached. We were frightened and did not get into his car. We walked back up the hill and found the young inexperienced guide who lied and said we didn't like the car. Then offered us transportation for a later tour. Waiting almost 2 hours, we said no just refund our money, we would not go to Oia with a company we felt we could not trust, lied, and was unreliable.
please note the service you booked with you was organized. The girl who was waiting for you at the exit drove you to the car and you refused to enter because it was a sedan and not a minivan. In fact, you started shouting and threatening against our company to the point that our employee cried because you just did not want this car. Our company has every right to choose the vehicle that will do the transport so please download your comment immediately. It is not our responsibility that you did not like it. You could have booked a private tour if you had such requirements.
Was worried about unpredictable lines for cable car and how this would affect pick up. However, service was very responsive and had a vehicle pick us up within 10 minutes of ringing them once we got to the top. Very friendly and efficient and equally good when we phoned to arrange return pick up ( they had told us would need 30minutes notice to get a vehicle across to Oia so we just needed to give them this notice. Couldn't have been any better. Highly recommended and thank you.
