鳥の観察のための川クルーズは、Ging川を流れるガレのユニークで魅力的なイベントの1つです。このGing川は、いくつかの地域のいくつかの枝に分かれてGalle地区を横断する唯一の川です。それはSinharaja熱帯雨林から始まり、豊かなエコシステムを通って流れ、国の湿潤帯を通過します。そのため、鳥のためにGalleのGing RiverのMahamodara River Faceから川クルーズを開始し、MangrovesやFresh Water Aquaticなどのエコシステムを見学します。この川クルーズでは、いくつかの風土病の鳥や移住鳥類を含む多くの鳥類を一年のうちに探索することができます。この川クルーズで鳥を見ながら、午後4時頃から午後遅く到着することをお勧めします。
Having been on a trip to The Safari park with them our driver suggested we may like to take this river trip. With just my husband and I plus our drive/guide and boat owner we spent a couple of hours along the river with just the birdsong to hear. The two men were extremely knowledgeable with eyes like hawks as they pointed out the multitude of birds along the river. Monkeys were also on parade and all in all a lovely way to spend a late afternoon. Not sure why this trip is not highlighted as one to take as it is surely a well kept secret.
