Our tour of Mumbai was eye opening and informational. The variety of locations were interesting and our guide was very informative. I recommend this tour.
RECOMMEND these guys - they are a must! Felt like family members took us around Mumbai! - We felt loved, taken care of, everything that we wanted to see, they took into consideration. I can thoroughly recommend this trip as it was fascinating. Our guide, Sameer was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about Mumbai in one day. We visited a variety of interesting locations, making the day a great success and great value for money!
Ankita was our guide for the day and gave us information about the history, culture, food and daily life in the city. We were delighted to view a local religious service and gained insight on its history and importance. She actually took us on a short train ride that was so insightful to the daily life in Mumbai. Ankita is a true champion for the city of Mumbai and the country of India. We are very grateful for the day we spent on this tour.

We booked this tour from the UK one year ago, and were very impressed that the driver, Nitin, and guide, Sameer, arrived at our hotel exactly when they said they would. Our first stop was at the Gateway of India Arch and Taj Mahal Hotel….both very impressive. We then stopped at an enormous cricket ground where multiple games were being played, and certainly have never seen anything like it before! We then moved on to the central station, and that was unbelievable….so many people coming and going in a building with stunning architecture. After that, we went to see the biggest open air laundry in the world, where 5,000 people work and live. They launder bedding, towels and guest’s laundry from smaller hotels in the city, and it truly is a sight to see. We then moved on to visit Mahatma Ghandi’s house which was so interesting, as it gave a history of his life in a very informative way….definitely worth seeing. He was such a humble, peace loving person and that is shown in the many photographs and stories of his life. Next up was a visit to the Radhagopinath Temple…home of the Krishna religion. While we were there, followers of the religion came to take part in the service that was taking place. It is a very impressive building and worth seeing. Our second last stop was to the Hanging Gardens, although the views were a bit hazy, so our photos weren’t as good as they might have been. Finally, we drove past the most expensive house in the world….2 billion dollars, 27 floors (including one filled with snow!!), 600 staff and six residents, and is owned by one of India’s wealthiest entrepreneurs. Sameer was an excellent guide, and Nitin a very careful driver. If you are considering booking a tour with this firm, I would definitely recommend that you do.
Sameer was an excellent and engaging guide. We only had a day in Mumbai and he showed us the best of the best! Very knowledgeable with his history and understanding of a city her grew up in!
