We did 2 tours with Ahmed, Tunis Medina & Carthage He was professional, polite, super-informative, accommodating, & fun!
I booked the tour through Booking.com, and the guide got in touch with me very soon after I made the reservation. There was a scheduling conflict with another booking. So he suggested that we join the other group for free and then start our actual tour afterward. We didn’t regret the decision. The tour guide Ahmed is very friendly and answers all questions. The taxi driver was also very good. Lunch was included, which we highly recommend. We’d gladly recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting Tunis for the first time. Thanks for the wonderful day!
The only downside to this trip was that our guide was 45 minutes late. He apparently had an issue getting caught in a rainstorm had to go home and change his clothes, then got stuck in a traffic jam but we were all waiting there for quite a while. It was an interesting trip. The Medina is a magical place and having a guy going to the first time was very helpful.
Guide was a no show. Unable to contact them despite trying multiple avenues (sms, via viator, etc). Waited for 30 minutes without hearing anything from the operator. Still waiting on confirmation of a refund for the tour. The Viator support team was super responsive, but ultimately it's not clear if I am out the money for this tour.
The guide brought us in the most beautiful areas of the medina. Without him it would not be possibile to get the most from the medina.
Great guide who was super knowledgeable and provided lots of history. Was wonderful to have someone provide context to fully appreciate the Medina.
