ワット・パークナム・パーシーチャルーン（通り過ぎ） トンブリーの運河をクルーズしながら、アユタヤ時代中期に創建された歴史ある寺院、ワット・パークナム・パーシーチャルーンの横を通ります。 パーシーチャルーン地区にあるこの寺院は、古くから仏教の学問と瞑想の中心地であった。 しかし現在では、周囲の屋根の上に劇的にそびえ立ち、街中の遠くからも見える巨大な坐仏像で最もよく知られている。 ボートはここで一旦休止し、畏敬の念を抱かせるこの像を水中から眺めたり、写真を撮ったりすることができます。 高さは20階建てビルに匹敵する70メートル近く、根元の幅は40メートルあり、バンコクで最も高い仏像である。 きらめくゴールドの色調で鋳造されたこの像は、落ち着いた瞑想姿勢で座り、スカイラインと顕著なコントラストを見せている。 寺院で下船することはありませんが、運河の静けさからこの巨像を眺めると、本当にユニークで思い出に残る視点が得られます。
