We got to visit and learn from Miguel about key spots in downtown Mexico such as Diego Rivera Museum, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Catedral Metropolitana, Plaza Mayor, the Zocalo, Alameda and more! Miguel was very knowledgeable and passionate! Highly recommend.
Miguel is a second-generation guide and historian who speaks three languages, loves art and music and is an excellent conversationalist. Miguel shared his extensive knowledge of the “big three” Mexican muralists — Diego Rivera, David Siqueiros and José Clemente Orozco while touring several sites in the Centro of Mexico City. He contrasted the styles of each of the three and provided historical and cultural context, explaining the visual references and symbols in the paintings that are not always obvious.
Ana Rivera was a fabulous guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about muralism. Highly recommended.
We love the tour. Miquel was so informative and accommodating. The flow of the whole tour was perfect. He even took us to the bakery shop and bought us whatever we wanted. We also got to eat tacos. Grabbed coffee. Definitely a must if you’re travelling to Mexico
