This tour in Frascati, outside of Rome was wonderful! Our tour guides were great!! We toured around Frascati sites, learning its history and sampling its grapes off the vines, tasting several wines in the cave, and eating delicious local food! The weather was beautiful! It was a wonderful way to spend our last day in Italy. I highly recommend taking this tour!!
A lovely day with a very pleasant group of people. The whole experience was delightful , a breathing space away from the pace of Rome. A chance to sit and enjoy wine under the trees with incredible views and chat to lots of very nice people from around the world
This was a really nice tour. The winery gave us a tour of the vineyards and the wine cellar. We then tasted 3 wines with light snacks. After that, we were taken into town for a porchetta sampling, then off lunch which was very plentiful and more wine. You do need to be precise with the trains because they only run once and hour.
You are responsible for making your way to Frascati. The winery guide (Paola) was very outgoing and shared much information on wine-making. The city tour was very brief. The lunch menu could be improved.

The vineyard was absolutely beautiful. Loved the tour of the caves below towards the middle/end. The first 45min(I timed it) were spent outside in the heat with no water or wine to walk around with. One girl in the group asked for water and she said when we go inside later there will be some. Lack luster wine experience with only 3 1/2 pours over 2 hours. The second half, lunch, was fantastic and saved the review. Great tour of the downtown city with history and good food. You could tell the guide was a local and saying hi to everyone on the street like they were family. The food at the end was delicious.

An informative wine tour and the chance to tour the cellar that is in a volcanic cave? So awesome, especially since the cave was 20-30 degrees cooler since it was 90 degrees out. The wine was good, the lunch spot was super cute, and it was a great little experience.

The whole day was great from beginning to end. Touring a vineyard and learning from the actual family that owns the vineyard was amazing. I highly recommend this tour!

I arrived in Italy with my partner, but he was busy for work, so I took the tour on my own. I was staying in a villa very close to Frascati. It was easy from the main square to walk to the train station. We had two guides - 1 for the winery and 1 for the walk through Frascati and lunch. The person at the winery was a bit harder to understand, but super friendly. She was very animated during the tasting which helped with understanding. I've never experienced a wine tasting like it. SO MEMORABLE. And the wine was fantastic. 2 whites and 1 red. The guide for the lunch introduced us to the local way of eating. I enjoyed getting dropped in the culture. The group was fairly small and everyone got along so well. It was so fun. Loved this tour.
