Our guide was pleasant but did not provide much information - she barely pointed out anything while walking from one place to another. She didn’t really know much about the history of Paris and couldn't answer some basic questions - she didn’t even point out the left and right banks. We exprcted considerably more, particularly for the price we paid.

In fact, to make your experience as pleasant as possible, she was flexible enough to accommodate extra requests during the walk, such as making unscheduled stops at specific churches you wished to visit. While private tours offer a personalized and exclusive setting, we understand that every traveler has different expectations regarding group dynamics and interaction. Pamela always strives to adapt her commentary to the group's engagement level, though she was fully prepared to share all historical insights and details about Paris, including the distinctions between the Left and Right Banks.

Disappointing Tour
This was a disappointing tour of Paris. While our tour guide, Pablo, was very personable, he provided limited detailed information as we traveled throughout the city. The Viatour description was not the tour we received. Pablo was supposed to include several stops that he either eliminated completely or explained how we could do them on our own. This was an expensive private tour that did not provide what was promised in quality or inclusion of sites. This was listed as a 3 to 4 hour tour which lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Thank you for your feedback. Pablo is widely recognized as one of the best guides in Paris, so it is extremely rare for a guest to feel dissatisfied. As this was a private tour, Pablo adapted the itinerary to your preferences. Since you preferred to postpone the usual crepe stop, extra walking time was added to explore the Latin Quarter instead, moving the crepe visit to the end of the tour. Directions were also provided for your final stop per your request. We appreciate your kind words about Pablo’s warm personality.

Great guide in Paris
Sophie was fantastic. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and kind. We spent 3 fantastic hours with her. And her guidance didn’t end there, as she put together a list of recommendations based on the location of our hotel, our interests, preferred way of getting around and the amount of time we had left in Paris. We really couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Outstanding Walking Tour with Crepes
Pablo is a fantastic tour guide. Our family of 3 adults found the experience to be very informative and interesting. He is very kind, personable and accommodating. We truly appreciated his flexibility with our request to adjust the itinerary to focus only on specific areas due to the very hot temperatures. Pablo was mindful of going at an appropriate pace with frequent stops in the shade. He has a wealth of knowledge and gave us fascinating historical and architectural information. Most importantly, he responded promptly to my emails before the tour -this is so very important when coordinating and confirming the details. As a wonderful added bonus, the tour included a delicious meal (savory crepe, dessert crepe and drink) in an air-conditioned charming creperie. This is an outstanding and very enjoyable tour-highly recommend.

Not recommended, too many...
Not recommended, too much walking and too fast, we did not understand the explanations in addition we did not know where to go for the start. Too expensive for what we had. We were very disappointed. This excursion is not recommended for older people.

We are sorry to read your comments, but we believe there was significant misunderstanding regarding the nature and inclusions of the tour. The guide was perfectly punctual at the meeting point, despite receiving multiple stressful calls from the guests 30 minutes before the tour started.
Once the tour began, complaints were made about the experience being a walking tour, despite this being clearly stated in the description, as well as about not having Eiffel Tower summit tickets, which were never included. The guests fully enjoyed the included crepes stop, and the guide adapted the pace throughout the tour to accommodate the slower walking rhythm of guests over 70 years old.
We feel this review reflects a misunderstanding of the product rather than the actual quality of the service provided, and we will request its removal accordingly.

Parisian perfection
Nat was a delightful guide. She showed us most of the famous landmarks and was knowledgeable about the history of Paris. If you’re lucky enough to get her as a guide you’re in for a treat.

Perfect for a Paris intro
This was such a good option for a short stay in Paris. Our guide Lolie was really attentive and adapted everything to what we hadn’t seen yet, which made the experience feel very personal. We got to cover all the main sights while also learning interesting bits of history along the way. She also shared some great tips for the rest of our time in the city. Would definitely recommend booking this!

Really nice tour
We had a really lovely tour with Ravi. He was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely interesting to listen to. We learned quite a lot along the way, including some fascinating facts we hadn’t heard before, which made the whole experience even better. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting.
