前編 : カイロ ウォーキング ツアー: エジプト遺産の中心を発見!象徴的なエル・アズハル・モスク
タハリール広場は、エジプトのカイロのダウンタウンにあるナイル川近くの公共スペースです。当初は 19 世紀の統治者ケディブ イスマイルにちなんでイスマイリア広場と名付けられましたが、1950 年代にタハリール広場に改名されました。 この広場は、2011 年のエジプト革命の中心となり、1 月 25 日から 2 月 11 日までの 18 日間、デモ参加者が占拠しました。抗議活動は 2011 年 2 月のホスニー ムバラク大統領の辞任で最高潮に達しました。それ以来、タハリール広場はエジプト革命の中心となっています。ムバラク大統領の辞任や2013年のエジプトのクーデター後に政権を握った軍事政権に対する抗議活動など、他にも数多くの抗議活動が行われた場所である。 タハリール広場は、民主主義と自由を求めるエジプト人民の闘いの重要な象徴です。ここはエジプト人が団結して不満を表明し、変化を要求できる場所です。この広場はエジプト国民の目標を達成する決意を象徴しており、これからもエジプトの歴史の重要な部分であり続けるでしょう。
カイロのエジプト博物館には、ツタンカーメンの墓の内容物や 19 世紀以降に発見されたミイラのほとんどを含む、12 万点を超える工芸品が収蔵されています。この博物館の展示品は、古代エジプト古王国時代 (紀元前約 2700 年) の始まりからギリシャ・ローマ時代にまで及びます。建物は 2 階建てです。 1 階では、入り口で左折して博物館を一周することで、古王国時代からギリシャ ローマ時代までのエジプトの歴史をたどることができます。これはエジプトの古代史のほとんどに良い背景を提供します。
中東最古のバザール
アル ムイズ (ムイズ通りまたはアル モエズ通り) を歩くことは、イスラム教エジプトの歴史をたどるようなものです。この通りには、壮大で壮大なイスラムの記念碑が数多くあります。このカイロ地区は、まったくユニークな建築群です。 ムイズ通りは、1040 年以上にわたって設立されたモスク、門、大通り、宮殿など、さまざまな記念碑が含まれているため、世界最大のイスラム記念碑の公開博物館です。また、250 点の珍しい作品を収蔵する最も重要な織物博物館も含まれています。
ゴーリーヤ コンプレックスは、バブ ズウェイラにつながるアル ムイズ ストリートの南側の始まり、アル アズハル ストリートのすぐ南にあります。通りの東側には、アル・グリーが自分のために建てた霊廟があります。悲しいことに、彼の遺骨はオスマン帝国との戦いで失われ、埋葬されることはありませんでした。 西側にはカイロで最も高いミナレットの一つを誇るマドラサ様式のモスクがあります。その天井はかつて市内最大のドームを支えていましたが、度重なる崩壊により、単純な平らな木製の屋根に置き換えられました。

Highly recommended! Our university group booked this company for our 10 day tour in Cairo, Alexandria and Al-Rashid. It was a great experience - we had a clean and well air-conditioned bus, they took care of us, made us feel safe, fended off annoying street vendors if needed, and took us to places that were definitely not visited by the average tourist (such as Mukaddam). Our tourguide was Ahmad, a really great guy, professional, knowledgeable but also fun. Will definitely contact them once I'm back in Cairo!

A very organized, likeable and experienced organizer. He has responded to every desire and need. We were in Egypt as part of a study trip, our program was accordingly much more comprehensive, we also visited the pyramids and Alexandria. It was a good mix of information, experience and fun, in the evening we also had a varied program. Our tour guide (a trained archaeologist), was very patient with us and very good at his profession, has answers to every question. We felt very well looked after, from hotel and food reservations to currency exchange, internet map or any advice.
