We booked a private tour to Bosnia Herzegovina which includes a private driver and site seeing is on your own with no guide. Our driver on the day was Niksa. He was a very competent driver, we felt very safe at all times in his hands. Communication at locations of where to meet was great and always was on time to pick us up. Niksa provided some local knowledge whilst driving, was friendly and we enjoyed his company during the day. His recommendation for a place to eat in Mostar was absolutely spot on. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Surprisingly we ran into Niksa at the port the following day when we were awaiting our ferry and he greeted us with big smiles and hugs, showing he truly enjoys his job and meeting people and does not forget them immediately the trip is over. Thank you Niksa, we wish you and your lovely family all the best for the future.
Liked that this tour stopped at four places in Bosnia. Appreciated that a last minute guide was dispatched to replace a guide who had taken ill. I did not appreciate the guide’s wild driving nor not dropping me off at the gate to the old city. Instead I was dropped off near the top of a hill which was “one minute from the gate”. The spot was over 10 minutes from the gate with many stair steps for a person 73 years old after a full days tour.
Our guide, Elvir Zeba, was truly outstanding and made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we started, he was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elvir struck the perfect balance between sharing detailed insights and allowing us time to explore on our own. His storytelling brought the places we visited—Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj, and Stolac—to life, and he was always attentive to our comfort and needs along the way. Beyond being an excellent guide, he was personable and genuine, which made the day feel less like a tour and more like traveling with a local friend

We had an amazing day visiting Mostar, Stolac, Pocitelj, and Blagaj with Elvir as our guide. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. The places we visited were stunning, and Elvir shared stories and insights that really brought the history to life. Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore in a meaningful and memorable way!
Outstanding day and overall experience with Elvir. I strongly recommend. My daughter and I were on a one day cruise stop in Dubrovnik, Croatia and wanted to see some of Bosnia. Very efficient and clear communications with Elvir via What’s App to set up the day in advance. He offered suggestions regarding what was feasible in the eight hours we had to explore. After meeting him literally outside the cruise terminal - a one minute walk from the ship- we began a multi-stop Bosnia tour in Elvir’s comfortable air conditioned car. Elvir offered tons of historical information and perspectives and along the way we stopped at several places for coffee, for lunch and for ice cream. Each stop, offering local authentic food I could never have found myself. It was a real insider’s guide to Bosnia. He was easy going, a good story teller, and gave my daughter and I space at times to explore. It was a busy day but Elvir managed the pace and geography including border crossings very effectively. His price was very fair too and a lot cheaper than the excursions my cruise ship were offering as part of a larger group.
Fantastic tour with CruiserTaxi! Elvir was an amazing guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about his culture. Highlights included coffee at a café on a waterfall, an abandoned medieval town, and a visit to Mostar with a great traditional lunch. He tailored everything to our interests and got us back to the ship right on time. Highly recommend!
Elvir is an excellent tour guide and highly experienced driver! Our tour from Dubrovnik to Mostar (with multiple stops along the way) was by far one of the best tours we've ever experienced. He was professional, polite, and highly educated on the complex history of the region. We wanted a private trip that would allow us to see and learn about various sites in a comfortable vehicle and within the timeframe that we wanted - Elvir gave us exactly that and more!!! We HIGHLY recommend this tour!
