What a wonderful day, we learned so much about Thai cuisine including a very informative shopping trip at a local market. Our chef was very patient and really entertaining and we spent time with his mother at the end who is a decorated chef and very interesting to talk to. High points were the market visit and the cooking itself followed by eating what we had made (which was delicious). A huge plus point for us was that you are able to select your own menu to cook rather than following a prescribed format. We will definitely recommend this and will come back again for sure.

We had the best guide! He was engaging and funny and everyone was hands on. It was a fantastic experience. Loved walking through the market and rooftop cooking was so unique. They said they would give us recipes of the dishes we made, but we all forgot that part in the fun we had. But they went out of their way to provide that through whatsapp later. I highly recommend

Oh my gosh!!!!! This was the best decision! Not only was was the food we are amazing but the entire experience was 10/10!!! Do not hesitate to book this trip! Everyone was so nice and it was such a personal hands on opportunity to get to know the food, the market, and the people! Walking through the market was sooooo cool too! So much YUMMY food as well!

What a great morning! I did this cooking class with my 11-year-old daughter. The market was incredible and Lek, the owner of the restaurant and our instructor, was so wonderful and knowledgeable. She quizzed us on little known vegetables and fruits and took us deep into a local market where we would not have likely gone without her. We got to taste tidbits along the way and gather our ingredients for the morning. Her cooking instructions were clear and also fun and beautiful as she laid out the ingredients in such a nice way. We were provided with pictures that she took of both us and the surroundings so that we could relax and enjoy the experience. She also provided a shopping list of ingredients and the recipes. It was a very great and delicious morning!

Our guides were so nice and friendly. Unfortunately their English was not the best, making it a bit difficult to ask questions while shopping in the food market. The food was great and it was a good experience.

I've taken cooking classes worldwide, and this one stands out as the absolute best. The class struck a perfect balance between hands-on cooking, learning, and eating. The pacing was excellent - we had time to learn properly without feeling rushed or bored. The food we created was phenomenal - honestly the best I've ever eaten. The recipes were impressive yet achievable, and we learned valuable techniques we'll actually use at home. The welcoming atmosphere made it easy to ask questions and experiment. If you're considering a cooking class, don't hesitate to book this one. It's worth every penny and perfectly demonstrates what a cooking class should be - fun, educational, and delicious.

My family loved this tour and class. We had so much fun and learned a lot with Lily and Jessica. The market tour had us trying food we may have skipped on our own. For the rest of our trip, at every market my kids had no trouble finding things they wanted to eat. The class was so much fun and just the right level for all of my family. We each prepared three recipes (all of the ingredients were gathered but we chopped and pounded and cooked and stirred…so it was really nice for my 8 and 9 year old kids to be able to participate fully but it still felt like we were learning the recipe). At the end of the tour we walked away with a ton of food, some great knowledge, and a video of our some fun moments on our tour and class!
