The Junglewala guided cruise was a fantastic time for us. Our guide Azri and our captain were very accommodating and knowledgeable throughout. They made sure that we were able to see the animals and gave very informative description to all of them. Junglewala cruises also have an exclusive "waterway" only accessible for us. The boat was very clean and steady. They also had glass bottles of water for us to hydrate and cool down. Highly recommend!

Beautiful experience to visit and enjoy the natural landscapes in the mangrove. We could share with other people from other corners of the world.

Very knowledgeable and ethical guide who talked a lot about the ecology and practices which sustain the local species. We saw lots of different birds, snakes, lizards and monkeys. It was a rainy morning but quite comfortable under the canopy of the boat.

This was one of the highlights of our Langkawi trip and we are grateful to Jien for the thoughtful and informative tour and I think was a superior guide given his background in conservation which I think is uncommon among your operators. We wanted to do the Mangroves but were given pause by the eagle and monkey feedings of other tour companies, which are popular tourist attractions but are really harmful for the wildlife (we saw some monkeys tearing up chip bags tossed from other tours!). So it was a huge plus that Junglewalla is committed to providing a great experience without that. And we actually got to see dozens of eagles and monkeys anyway, so in the end it wasn't less of an experience in any respect. We saw a lot of wildlife from big to small and always felt safe, too. I was happy for Jien that he was able to spot a kingfisher for the first time, which is an incredibly rare bird there! We learned a lot about not just the wildlife but the geology and reasons it's the first UNESCO geological site. For a shared tour it was just three small groups so it felt intimate and like fewer people crammed in than other operators. A perfect last touch was that the calm weather let us have a nice boat ride back around the island, which allowed for breathtaking photos of the island and "Hollywood sign" and I appreciated they only do if it won't be bumpy.

Our guide Francis was knowledgeable, which made this tour memorable. We loved eco friendly approach of not feeding monkeys. Overall great experience !!

Very happy we did this tour. Our guide Jien was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, really made the tour. We really like the ethical stance of this company to not feed the monkeys and eagles. Shoutout to captain Joe who skilfully steered us through very narrow waterways.

A fantastic mangrove safari with Masyi from JungleWalla — funny, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. Our captain was equally impressive: skilful, calm and always considerate of other boats and visitors. Most importantly, JungleWalla does tourism the right way — ethical, eco-conscious and respectful of wildlife, with no feeding or disturbing animals. A brilliant experience with people who genuinely care about Langkawi’s ecosystem. Highly recommended.
