What a fantastic tour! Steve was our driver for the day but also an Historian, botanist as well as a funny and knowledgeable storyteller. He gave us an insight into the Queensland culture, History, flora and fauna. First, we learnt that Queensland was a land of gold before becoming the land of sugar cane as we drove along the fields to the town of Mossman. Mossman had once a booming industry of sugar cane and Steve explained us the hard work of harvesting and extracting the juice with machetes before the machinery arrived. Time to have a well deserved morning break at Mossman Gorge Visitor Center and to enjoy tea/coffee with delicious scones. Then the shuttle brings you to the rainforest and the magical part is the walk to Mossman Gorge.There is the option of swimming. Steve told us about plants, trees and shows us the giant basket ferns.He told us about this Aboriginal place as Aboriginal are the custodians of the forest and its creatures. Flying foxes, tree kangaroos and cassowaries are the creatures of this forest. The Daintree rainforest is the oldest one on earth and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Time to taste a delicious piece of kangaroo or Barramundi at Daintree Teahouse and to learn about tropical fruit as Richard, the owner of the restaurant ,is passionate about fruit. The Daintree river cruise is about birds and crocodiles. If you are lucky, you will see Scarface, the king of the river with one tooth left. You will learn about their anatomy and hunting technique. The Cape Tribulation is an other magical moment where the forest meets the sea.It has been named by Captain Cook.Guess why. And why not tasting a delicious ice cream made by an incredible lady ,with natural ingredients at Daintree ice cream company? Still time to enjoy the views at Alexandra lookout and to stop at Port Douglas in front of the Bay. This a very long 12 hour trip but with a lot of stops and the small number of 14 passengers makes the trip enjoyable. Premium tour, yes without any doubt and it 's worth every dollar. Thank you Steve for making us love Queensland.

The tour was a really good way to see Australian rainforest and beaches in North Queensland! It is a full day tour with many stops, enough time to explore and some lovely treats like proper delicious lunch and tea/coffee/scone breakfast. Our guide Steve did a fantastic job giving us a lot of information about Daintree, very professional and organized. It is a small group with great homely atmosphere. Thanks to Steve for showing us some beautiful parts of North Queensland!

AMAZING! Whilst you spend quite a bit of time on a bus it really is well worth it, I loved every minute and the trip is well worth the money!

We had such a fantastic day with Jim today that we had to jump on and write a review straight away! It was a jam-packed day filled with so much information, incredible wildlife and beautiful sights. We were so lucky to see such a variety of Australian wildlife, as well as some amazing scenery along the way. Jim was an absolutely amazing guide — sooooo knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and such a top bloke! He was hilarious and really made the whole day so memorable. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his knowledge and enthusiasm really made the experience. The tour is definitely worth the money, especially as it’s essentially a full 12-hour day from pick-up to drop-off. Everything that was included was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the chicken and my partner had the steak, and both were absolutely lovely! There were also lots of little extras that we weren’t expecting, which made the day even more special — including the fruit information from our wonderful host! Thank you so much to everyone involved for such a brilliant day. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to experience the Australian wildlife and scenery. And a special thank you to Jim for making it such a fun and memorable day!

Steve is a very knowledgeable tour guide, we throughly enjoyed the day.

Rom was very knowledgeable and had a good relationship with those at the visitor centre and with other guides. It was a well rounded trip and an excellent use of a day. It did take roughly 12 hours though and the majority of it in the bus. But the views are worth it.

We were really impressed with every aspect from booking, communication, smaller group and quality of the vehicle. Our guide was Pierre and he went out of his way to make it personal. Everything was well organised. It is a long day but so glad we did it. It was worth the cost.

Amazing experience, highly recommend. Your guide Carsten was amazing. I’d only recommended it not being so quick.
