We had an absolutly wonderful Tour with the lovely Jack Redmond, who was very knowledgable and fun. The Tour was very interesting, unique and showed us, who barely knew anything about Dublin at all, a fascinating side of the City with many historical facts and wonderfully spooky anecdotes! Highly recommend the Tour and Jack as a guide!

This tour took us places we’d not seen anywhere else. And We LOVED Rob! He was an amazing tour guide…. Very informative, funny and engaging.

We paid in advance for the ghostly and macabre tour, and were met by a freindly guide at the spire. Rob showed us around several areas on the North side of Dublin, stopping at multiple interesting points of interest. It was a good tour overall, and didn’t overlap with a previous walking tour content of the city however the guide ‘Rob’ was not as engaging as others had been. We felt that the route was quite unusual, almost like we were being led around a run down area of the city with stories made to fit.

Peter was a fantastic guide for our macabre tour of Dublin! He was so animated, personable and knowledgeable. Whatever question was asked of him, he was able to answer with great authority. It is clear that he loves Dublin, its history and the people visiting. Thank you Peter!

Peter is a very engaging man who has an ability to inform in a relaxed and interactive manner. The walk is well planned and the history and mythology is revealed in a planned and structured manner. A very engaging walk and experience.

Our guide (Rob) did such a great job! He was so friendly and funny and he explained everything very good. I would highly recommend the tour for anybody who is interested in the darker parts of the Irish history. Rob, I hope your renovations on your house are going as planned! Wish you the best :P

Peter was a fantastic tour guide and story teller, I would 100% recommended this tour if you are visiting Dublin as you learn a lot about the city and its history over the 2 hours. Peter made you feel welcoming, and was very knowledgeable about the city meaning he was happy to answer any questions you had. The tour was very informative and the gruesome and creepy stories and tales were fascinating to learn about. Definitely worth the price! 😊

I took the Macabre Dublin Tour on December 27, 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour took us through the eerie streets of Dublin's old city, where we explored both sides of the river, hearing chilling tales about the darker aspects of the city's history. From the gruesome death of Cuchulainn, the legendary warrior, to the fascinating and macabre business of grave robbing in the 19th century, the stories were both disturbing and captivating. We even learned about mummified corpses, legless serial killers, and rats that devoured human remains. The highlight of the tour was Peter, our guide, who was exceptional. He didn't just recount facts; he skillfully dramatized each story, bringing the bloodier and more sinister parts of Dublin's past to life. His storytelling made the events feel real, and his passion for the subject was clear. He did a fantastic job of immersing us in the eerie atmosphere of Dublin's streets, making each stop memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the darker side of Dublin's history. Peter's dramatic narration adds a whole new level to the experience, making it a must-do for those looking for something different and spooky.

An absolut must-have for a Dublin visit. Pieter knows such an huge amount of real insights in the Irish history and you as his guests on that event can ask what you want, he returns back with so good and valuable background information.
