テレジン強制収容所記念ツアー（プラハ発）

This was an extremely informative excursion. Our guide, Lucy, did a fabulous job explaining and preparing us for what we were about to see. We got a better perspective of this time in history.

Was worth going to. Very interesting to learn about the past. So sad about the suffering people went through in World War Two. Wear good shoes as there is plenty of walking but I walked with two sticks and managed everything.

Wonderful host, sadly, I can't remember her name, did a great job of providing a quick history of Czechoslovakia, the Nazis & a quick review of the Russian occupation. The Terezin (3 hours) portion of the tour was informative particularly the information that cell 1 held Gavrilo Princip, the assassin that triggered World War I in 1914 by killing Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The site (2 large sites) where very interesting and worthy of a 5 hour investment. Loveld the tour, highly recommend.

Wonderful tour with Sofia! We enjoyed our time with her and everything she shared on our tour. Would definitely recommend

The English guide at the small fortress was very difficult to understand and she also rushed us through the tour so I was not happy with it. The tour guide Lucy on the bus was a lot better and easy to understand.

The PA system was terrible! We kept telling our guide the sound was extremely muffled and we couldn’t make out the words. Very disappointing since we paid for a guided tour. He didn’t really seem to care about the problem and kept talking mumbo jumbo…

Wish I could give this tour a NO STAR but that’s not possible. The so called “tour guide” was rude. The bus had English speaking travelers Italian speaking travelers and Spanish speaking travelers . The incredibly rude guide spends time translating back and forth between English and Spanish. When asked if the group would go with him or somewhere else- he said “if you’d like”. The instructions on what time to meet after the initial tour were not clear since the English speakers had a different guide on arrival. Then the guide seemed annoyed when he had to come back to the initial stop to get me ( since I was left behind). He was courteous enough to then discuss with other travelers what an “inconvenience to him and to other travelers it was and how none of it was his fault” - in Spanish. That’s very professional!!! Terezín is worth seeing but NOT with this company. That tour guide was the worst. He argued with a traveler that “the United States did nothing about what was happening in Terezin”. You could probably do this tour on your own minus the nasty attitude and comments of a miserable so called tour guide. Poor customer service.

We had an excellent trip to Terezín. Lucy accompanied us from Prague and was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us plenty of interesting information and historical context throughout the journey. At Terezín we had another guide who took us around the camp and was also excellent, explaining the history in a very respectful and informative way. It is a very moving place to visit and an experience that really makes you reflect on what happened there. An excellent, well-organised trip that we would highly recommend.

Comprehensive tour of 3 sites at Terezín. I don’t usually do guided tours but this was an excellent way to get an overview of the different areas at Tezerin with the convenience of having a guide and transportation take you exactly where you needed to go. Our guide (who originally is from Ukraine) was excellent.
