現在の構造は1885年にさかのぼりますが、ミーティングポイントは元々1830年に建てられたインマヌエルバプテスト教会の前にあります。ヤンゴン市庁舎の反対側。 午前9時に、植民地時代の都市の中心にあるヤンゴンシティホールでヘリテージウォークが始まります。近くに旧入国管理局があります。この建物は、1910年に国内で最も高級なデパートであるRowe＆Companyとして設計されました。建築家ジョン・ランサムによって設計された1911年のレンガ造りの建物である高等裁判所に進みます。印象的な植民地時代の建物を楽しみながら、パンダダンストリートまで歩き続けて、非営利のソーシャルエンタープライズショップであるHLA DAYに立ち寄ってください。カラフルな婦人服や子供服、ぬいぐるみ、文房具、ジュエリー、家庭用品などがあります。 3階建ての旧新法廷の本拠地であるStrand Roadに進みます。次の停留所は、1916年のカスタムハウスです。エレガントな白い塔と両面時計が入り口の上にある大きな建物です。赤レンガの一般郵便局を過ぎて、アルメニアのホテル経営者であるサーキーズ兄弟によって1901年に建てられた豪華なストランドホテルまで歩いてください。また、ナンティダジェティでのにぎやかな生活もご覧ください。 ヤンゴンヘリテージウォークの終わり！

Tens of thousands have turned out in street protests against last week's coup in Burma which overthrew Aung San Suu Kyi's democratically elected government in the South East Asian country also known as Burma - despite a recent ban on large gatherings and a night curfew.
That's happening in Myanmar, Mr. Martino.
Saw many of of historic colonial buildings and cathedral and received valuable insights into the customs and food along the way. Ohnmar and Thet Piang went out of their way to make it a special tour.
