Zac did a wonderful job showing us around and describing the history of Kilkenny castle and the history of the area along with the Waterford area and history. The Waterford tour(bought separately) was very well done. Zac is very personable and well informed on all things Irish. Hats off to him!

The journey was great principally because of our tour guide, Pat, who dropped us off door to door everywhere and showed us exactly where to go for every stop.

Cost is prohibitive for the length of trip with the booking company receiving more money than the driver. Please allow more time visiting the destinations instead of sitting in traffic.

We enjoyed a very full day of beautiful Kilkenny that was enhanced with our Guide’s expert knowledge about the community and many of its special spots. Zac guided us through the complex history of Kilkenny and Waterford. He was on our team when it came to taking a “long way home” in order for me to visit a cemetery where an ancestor was buried. He was as happy as we were to actually find the tombstone! He indulged us by allowing us to have tea and biscuits with a distant family friend that we met serendipitously in the cemetery! Our hearts were overflowing with joy and gratitude for these moments that Zac helped us experience! We can’t wait for our next trip!

Zac was an excellent tour guide and driver. His car was clean, comfortable, and he is a real gentleman (opens the doors, offers extra water, thoughtful in all ways). The castle tour was good, but he also took us to an Abbey which was peaceful and special. The trip to Waterford goes by fast as Zac offers a blend of factional information about the modern Irish lifestyle and history of the sites, along with a personal touch. He is a brilliant conversationalist with depth and thoughtfulness. Finally, the tour of the Waterford Factory is so much better and interesting than you think it will be. The artisan work is amazing once you see what goes on behind the scenes. This tour is well worth the money and time.

Waterford Crystal was on my wife’s “must do” list and the tour did not disappoint. Our driver was knowledgeable about the area and we had lunch in Kilkenny. A wonderful time.
