Drop off back at hotel unclear and added stress
Most was perfect, except for one thing. Perfect - driving safely, van comfort, timely, ladies on Vesuvios tour and Pompei tour (excrllent and funny). The one struggle - all day we were called by our reservation name, several times. The driver going back to our hotel did not say our names, so we didn't know when to get off. He did not speak any English. We did not stop at our pickup place, (as was promised by tour description) so the streets were not recognizable to us. We were the last getting off the small bus, so then realized we missed our drop off! He would nog take us back. We had to walk about a mile through confusing streets. Bad way to end a perfect day. Please fix. Also, another family missed their drop-off point too.

The Way to See Pompeii
This was one of the absolute highlights of our experience on our recent Mediterranean cruise! We went to Pompeii. Leoncino our driver was pro-active in communicating to us, especially when our ship was delayed getting into port, managed expectations, and then exceeded them. Julia, the expert guide in Pompeii was incredible- she has been doing this for 10 years and knew so much about what everything we asked about and more- she was able to skip to the best of the sights to accommodate our mixed age group on one of the hottest days of the year and found any shade. Leoncino also had provided us with an umbrella which was indeispensable. After Pompeii, Leoncino recommended a winery on the slopes of Vesuvius which was incredible- a beautiful tour of the production (with a glass of wine in hand) followed by an amazing lunch and wine tasting on the rooftop with a lovely breeze and breathtaking sights. Overall, everything exceeded expectations

Thanks for the beautiful review, yes unfortunately due to the ship delay it had messed up our entire schedule, but fortunately in record time we reorganized everything, trying to be as available as possible and why not, also recommend some other experiences especially culinary.

Very good experience
Very good day trip : starting with Pompei, dining and finaly Vesuvio. Our guide in Pompei (french speaking guide) was very interesting and we learned a lot. His pace was perfect for us. Dining was quite simple : pizza or pasta and a drink. Vesuvio was also very interesting. We walked the 1 km path by ourselves and joined a guide for the final climb to the crater and could learn more about the volcano. The only negative point : the agency had not properly registered our hotel name and did not respond to my email concerning meeting point and time. Thanks to the day guide that called me when she saw that we were not at the hotel for pick up.
