Incredible tour! I didn't know how incredible Luxor would be, especially the tombs, temples, and monuments of the West Bank. Ahmed, my guide, is a seasoned professional and a very knowledgeable Egyptologist. Come with questions — he will expand your history horizons. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut was quite a sight to behold. The Collosi at Memnon have been damaged by earthquakes long ago, but are still epic in stature and a marvel to behold. My favorite tombs were Seti I and Ramses V/VI — absolute must-sees. It's worth the extra money. If you can't afford Seti, at least see Ramses V/VI. You won't regret it. King Tut's tomb was personally worth it to me to see his mummy but the tomb is pale in comparison to the aforementioned and most others. IMPORTANT: Keep in mind Queen Nefertari's tomb is closed and has been for over a year. Check in with your tour guide beforehand to confirm your itinerary and desired destinations. The horse carriage ride through Luxor was a very special experience. I must mention that Ahmed was also very gracious and helpful when I discovered I had lost my wallet earlier in the morning (on a hot air balloon ride) prior to our tour. These can be stressful times. He did everything he could to help, and we were able to continue our tour despite the initial setback. I am grateful for his kindness. The driver was great and very nice. Don't pass up this great experience! Thanks, Ahmed!
