Unforgettable! We had a fantastic day with Markos. It was such an amazing experience to have a tour with a native Athenian :) He was so knowledgeable, kind, patient, and engaging. We enjoyed learning all about Athens' history and notable landmarks from the comfort of Markos' clean, air conditioned vehicle and then having ample time to explore each location he taught us about...especially the incredible Acropolis Hill!!! Markos then took us to an wonderful, local Greek restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious meal. It was such a fun, memorable day. 10/10! Thank you SO, SO much Markos!!!

Mark and Nancy gave me the most awesome tour of Athens, hitting all the key sights in comfort and with lots of great historical information. They really made the day for me and showed me such a special side of Athens. Highly recommend!!

Our guide, Nancy, met us at the cruise ship terminal and made it very easy for us. She was on time and had a sign with our name. She took us immediately to the Acropolis and the museum, so we missed the big crowds. Then she showed us all of the city highlights, including the local market and a local restaurant. Nancy was interested in making sure we got the exact experience we wanted. I highly recommend Nancy’s private tour in her spacious, comfortable van.

We spent a full day with Timeless Athens Tours, and honestly, it was one of the best parts of our European trip. We had both our driver, Vassilis and guide Petros with us, and they were an amazing team. Petros was basically a walking history book—in the best possible way. He knew everything and explained it all so casually and clearly that it never felt overwhelming. Every stop suddenly had a story, a meaning, or some little detail we never would’ve noticed on our own. What made it even better was how well Petros and the Vassilis worked together. They bounced off each other with stories, jokes, and bits of culture and history that made the whole day fun. You could tell they both genuinely love what they do. The whole day was easy and comfortable. We saw so much more than we could have had we tried to explore Athens on our own. They were just a delight to spend time with—warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. If you’re heading to Athens, we’d absolutely recommend Timeless Athens Tours. They’re fabulous. Professional, expert, and experienced. Markos is a very skilled driver who knows Athens and how to share it with a mixed group. We also got a professional guide for 3 hours and that was very worthwhile. Pietros knows a lot and is very passionate about Greek history, architecture, culture, and much more. This tour is worth it.

We just had a wonderful day with our driver Marcos. We started with a tour of Acropolis with Petrus, very knowledgeable and interesting! Thereafter Marcos drove us around to see the main sights followed by a delicate Greek lunch. Marcos was flexible and arranged all according to our different needs, a family ranging from 10 years old to 85 years old. Highly recommended, we had a wonderful day seeing the sights of Athens and learning more about Greece, both history and current life.

My husband and I had only one day in extended transit and are very glad that we decided to book a private tour with Timeless Athens Tours. Marco (driver and tour company representative) picked us up at the airport hotel and we picked up Petros (licensed guide extraordinaire) en route to the Acropolis. We were reluctant to join a standard tour both because we’re not “tour” people and because I now have some mobility issues. Together, Marco and Petros took excellent care of us, curated a personally crafted tour, and gave us a good sampling of Athens and, especially, the Acropolis. Marco is very personable and passionate about giving guests a good sampling of the city—and a skilled driver! Petros is a gem of a guide—the kind who not has great depth of knowledge and creative ways to lead you through the complexities of Greek history, but also deep love for Greece and its heritage. We feel extremely glad to have found them and recommend them to you very highly.

We started private tour from the cruise port and went to Corinth canal. Ancient Corinth was explained by the professional Guide Vera. She was very skillful in every ways. Moreover our driver Yanis was super-excellent. He did not waste anytime and even recommended us beautiful hidden gems of Greece. Private tour was flexible because we had two children. We ended our tour with transfer to the Athens airport smoothly. I am sure that our reason to re-visit Greece would be due to the kindness of Timeless Athens tour. Athens private tours was so easy to work with from the very first email. Vallisis was prompt, organized and had great recommendations. We did two tours back to back days. 1/2 day to the temple of Poseidon and the next day a full day tour of Athens. I cannot say enough great things about our driver Yannis.
