It was a nice tour. We saw things and went to places that were new to us. If you book this tour, BEWARE that the name has changed to Ashes to Asheville. 10 minutes on the phone got it straight though. Also know that you must be able to go up and down hills on foot.

This app is terribly frustrating to use! We (two technologically savvy people) could not figure out how to get the hunt set up and started. Had to call the 1-800 number for assistance. After ten minutes of putzing around with that we were able to start, however no matter what we did or where we followed the app to we NEVER were successful in checking into a location. As you can see in the screenshot, we were within three feet of a location and the app would not allow me to check-in. When I called and asked about it they told me to bypass the check-in (which results in losing points). Yep, this was the only solution they provided, so that's what we had to do at every location even though we were right on top of the landmarks. This could be a really fun experience, but due to the poor app performance it ended up being more frustrating than fun. We have used other GPS based apps like this before and never had issues. This was our first (and last) time using the Let's Roam app.

Terrible communication. Tried for two hours to find where to obtain list of things to look for. Finally told we needed to download app. After doing so told they needed user ID which made no sense. Do not bother trying this.

We were given no directions and spent 2 hours using maps trying to find starting point. We called twice to get help and got none. Very disappointed as my friend and I were looking forward to this experience.

Worth! Would absolutely use this app again for scavenger hunts. It certainly helped us become more interactive with the city and locals. I will continue to use this for all vacations and trips, even in our own local town. I also love that this can be used for parties with friends, kids, and at work functions. We participated in our hunt for idk maybe 20 to 30 minutes before getting rained out. We were able to pause the game, grab dinner, and continue afterwards. Unfortunately by that point we were only able to continue for another hour or so until it became too dark outside to finish. We were able to complete our hunt the following day! So happy with this app! Oh, i should mention that we experienced technical difficulties to an annoying level. I restarted my phone which helped, but also realized overall the app works best when there's a good wifi or 5G connection.

Fun. The app gave us a few issues. Got to see places we would have not thought of. Would do it again in another city

Excellent. Simple and fun and educational. A nice walk through downtown - we visited shops and cafes and museums along the way. We spent about 90 mins - a fun activity after the drive here.

We enjoyed our walk around downtown Asheville on this crisp Fall day. Easy to follow the clues as we went. Odd that the hunt pits players against each other by awarding points to the photo taker not the subject.

My sister and I really enjoyed the tour around Downtown Asheville. If only we were a bit younger! It was quit a hike and we had to take a break. It took us longer than the 2hr meter limit so we had to cut our hunt short. We would definitely do it again!

criss crossing our steps to get to the clues. didn't really see much of asheville and what we did see was kinda boring. would not do it again.
