<p>We would not hesitate to arrange this private airport transfer again. The driver met us with my name on a sign. He then handled our luggage as we walked to our waiting car. The trip into Beijing to our hotel from the airport was very comfortable. This was well worth the cost for the comfort and convenience.</p>

<p>I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with this. To begin with, I was not met at the airport, initially, by the transfer operator, and when I contacted the local agent for assistance, there was a language barrier as her English was far from completely fluent.</p> <p>Upon advising her that we were in the arrivals area of the Beijing Airport, but had no idea where our pickup was, after some difficulty in communicating where we were we've never been to Beijing Airport we were finally told to go to the driver and meet in front of a Starbucks - which actually wasn't far from where we arrived.</p> <p>The point being, however, that communication could have been much better about how and when to meet - and when you speak no Mandarin and are in a foreign airport, and then have to make a phone call and have a difficult time understanding the person you're speaking to - you have a somewhat high anxiety moment.</p> <p>My advice to Viator- make explicit where the driver will meet you as he most assuredly was no where near our arrival point - and assure that the local contact has a higher degree of English proficiency.</p> <p>That being said, once we tracked down our driver, the car was more than adequate and transportation to our hotel was completed without a hitch.</p>
