Best tour in Bali. Hat down to our driver/ tour guide (Mr. Yanse) for his expertise and hospitality. He was very knowledgeable and patient explaining the history of the sites. My wife and I had an amazing time. We definitely recommend this tour and you get a bonus if get Mr. Yanse as your guide.

In Bali, finding a driver is easy. Finding someone who can turn a day of sightseeing into a genuine cultural experience is something quite different. YANSE did exactly that. From the outset, he was punctual, calm and professional, but it was his willingness to slow the day down and share the meaning behind Balinese traditions that made the experience memorable. There was no sense of being moved quickly from one attraction to the next. Instead, there was time to ask questions, observe and understand. The standout experience was a Melukat at Pura Mengening, an ancient water temple surrounded by greenery and the sound of flowing sacred springs. Rather than leaving us to navigate the ritual as tourists, Yanse stayed with us and patiently explained the process. He taught us about the offerings, the prayers, the sacred water and how to respectfully take part in the purification ceremony. Knowing the meaning behind each step changed the experience entirely. What could easily have been another photograph on a Bali itinerary became something quiet, reflective and deeply personal. That is perhaps Yanse’s greatest strength as a guide: he doesn’t simply show you Bali; he helps you understand it. For travellers searching for a driver who is reliable, safe, patient and flexible, but who can also provide a genuine connection to Balinese culture, Yanse is an excellent choice. Our Melukat at Pura Mengening was one of those rare travel experiences where you stop feeling like a tourist and simply become present in the moment. A beautiful introduction to the spiritual heart of Bali and a memory we will carry home with us. 🙏🌿💧

Great driver, informative guide, all prepaid was a nice way to go as well! Can’t recommend enough- now to rest after a busy day! 🙏♥️

In September 2025, my friend and I visited Indonesia for the first time. I did research on TripAdvisor of fun things to do in Bali and I found the Ubud Monkey Forest, Holy Water Temple & Waterfalls Tours. I figured this was a great way to see a lot of sites in Bali, all in one day. The day of the tour, our tour guide was Yanse. It was just us and Yanse. I didn’t realize it was more a private tour than a tour with other people. Sadly it was raining when Yanse picked us up. I learned later that Bali had experienced 48 hours of heavy rain which was very uncommon for this time of year. Bali had a lot of flooding and landslides due to all this rain. We stopped at all these places during our tour (in this order): Nadisuari Batik Factory, Monkey Forest, Abian Desa Rice Terrance, Cantik Agriculture Luwak Coffee, Lunch: Waroeng D'Yoni, Pura Tirta Empul, Taman Sari Waterfall & Natural Pool. My favorite places were Monkey Forest and Cantik Agriculture Luwak Coffee even in the rain. One monkey touched my arm and I have some funny pictures from this. At Cantik Agriculture Luwak Coffee, they let us try 13 Coffees/Teas. Then they had a store, that sold the coffee and teas we tried. I purchased two teas and one Coffee and Cocoa Mix which taste like hot chocolate. Lunch at Waroeng D'Yoni was good! I enjoyed my food. It was raining hard when we stopped at the Pura Tirta Empul temple. We had umbrellas but had on shorts and were wet and cold. We did not want to get sprinkled with temple holy water. In order to go to the next section of the temple, you had to get sprinkled. We were find with not going to that section of the temple. Yanse did not like this and started explaining why you get sprinkled with holy water. His explanation did not change our mind so we walked back to the car. After this, Yanse had an attitude the rest of the trip. My friend and I saw Yanse two days later at Happy Swing. He was so excited to see us. It was so funny how his attitude switched.

An outstanding day out. Our guide Yanse was courteous, knowledgeable and tailored the tour to what we were interested in. He spared no effort in making the day in central Bali memorable.
