The sites are popular, often crowded, but worth seeing—especially with an expert guide like Nazan to navigate and adapt your visit to conditions as they exist that day. Nazan was personable, knowledgeable, and built the day at Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia around what we wanted to see and for how long. Nazan is warmly greeted by virtually every other guide who sees her, and the professionalism and respect she carries with other guides was obvious. (A big plus in being able to navigate some lines and get to quieter areas.) We highly recommend you ask for Nazan.

Beautiful walk
We were walking the all day through the city and our guide Sedat was very nice, lovely and funny. He explained us all the important things to us.
That's was the perfect tour to do when you don't stay so long in Istanbul and you want to visit the most important things.

Private Tour – A Must for History Lovers
Highly recommend this private tour for anyone visiting Istanbul who wants real historical context and a more intimate, unhurried experience of one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the subject, weaving together stories of sultans, harem intrigue, and empire in a way that made the palace feel alive rather than just a museum. He paced the tour perfectly, giving us time to linger at the highlights — the stunning tilework, the panoramic views over the Bosphorus and Golden Horn from the palace grounds, and the sheer scale and detail of the architecture — while still covering everything efficiently.
Going private was absolutely worth it. We skipped the stress of large tour groups, could ask as many questions as we wanted, and moved at our own pace. It made a potentially overwhelming site feel personal and manageable.

We spend 6 of the best hours, as tourists. So many beautiful places, so much history. Istambul is a fabulous City.
Our guide, Yusuf Sipahi, was on time at the ship. He had so many pertinent information, knew all the dates and was interesting and friendly.

Emel was an outstanding tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Topkapi palace and the Hagia Sophia. She patiently answered all of our questions and took plenty of wonderful pictures of us!
