私たちの一日は、古代アテネでの生活の焦点＆ミケーネ人が何千年も前に建てたその素晴らしいサイクロペディアの壁に囲まれたアクロポリスから始まります。 アクロポリスにはパルテノン神殿だけでなく、他にも素晴らしいモニュメントがたくさんあります。 まずは、かつて女神アテナの金で包まれた像が立っていた巨大な‘プロピュライア’を通って中に入ります。 また、紀元前420年からのアテナ・ニケ神殿（または「勝利の神殿」）や、カリュア朝の象徴的な彫像を持つユニークな建築の神話上のエレクテイオン、ソポクレスやエウリピデスの古代劇の初演を見たであろう紀元前6世紀の世界最古のディオニュソス劇場など、他の重要な遺跡も見学できます。 同じく敷地にある、西暦161年に完成した印象的な完全に改装されたローマ劇場ヘロディウス・アッティカスは、金持ちの篤志家の妻に捧げられ、現在も活気ある公開サマープログラムを主催している。

Fantastic tour in the timeframe that our visit allowed. Both our driver and tour guide were extremely knowledgeable and wonderful. We were able to get fantastic pics and learn a lot, and we paid extra to be dropped off at the airport afterward. It was a wonderful morning and so convenient and flexible for our needs.

WOW! Our tour guide was amazing. Pedro was wonderful. He was punctual, the transportation was clean and comfortable. He explained all the sites and city history. He answered any questions we had about Athens. Athens was a city I had always wanted to visit and explore and after Pedro’s tour I want to return for more Athens adventures.
