成都パンダ基地と楽山大仏への日帰り旅行

This is a must do when in Chengdu. Seeing pandas up close for the first time, was a wonderful experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Private Tour! Our Panda, Leshan Buddha, and private tour was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was our driver, Liu Yuan. He was incredibly kind, professional, and made the entire day feel effortless. His translations were excellent, which made communication easy and helped us better appreciate everything we were seeing.

Our tour guide was outside and ready at 8AM sharp! He was so kind and knowledgeable regarding the local area and was able to provide suggestions on where to go/what to see. It was such amazing experience and I’d suggest anyone visiting Chengdu book this tour!

Our driver was so kind and accommodating! We got to ride in a very spacious and comfortable vehicle, and he took us around and was kind enough to extend our trip to end at a later time, so we could spend more of our day around both landmarks. :)

A tale of two highlights — and one lesson in reading the fine print! This tour is essentially transportation only, so manage your expectations accordingly. Our driver was wonderfully friendly and kind, but spoke no English, so everything went through phone translation. He also surprised us with a stop for the most amazing dumplings — a lovely touch. First stop: the Giant Panda Research Center. Absolutely spectacular. We could have spent the entire day there — these bears are utterly adorable and the facility is world class. Anyone visiting Chengdu, do not skip this. Note that entry tickets are not included, which caught us off guard. Then a two-hour drive to Leshan Buddha, approached by a 25-minute boat ride to its base. Undeniably impressive — a staggering feat of craftsmanship created over 1,200 years ago. That said, four hours of driving for a relatively brief visit made us question the value. Worth seeing, but temper expectations for the journey. Overall: great driver, incredible pandas, impressive Buddha — just read the inclusions carefully before booking!

I had such a wonderful experience with Shi Jianhua! He was incredibly kind and friendly. He took me to eat some of the best noodles I’ve had in Chengdu. I felt very comfortable the entire time and truly enjoyed discovering the city with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Chengdu!

Mr Liu picked us up in a nice clean car and took us to the panda base and then the Leshan grand Buddha. He was very accommodating when we were looking for a snack and stopped when we needed. The tickets to visit the sites had to be purchased separately and he helped us with that as well. He was also very responsive on WeChat.
