This was a wonderful day in Azerbaijan! There were several interesting stops. Our guide, Nazperi, was informative and entertaining. Our driver, Kniyaz, was skillful and professional. Lahij is a picture perfect village with plenty of shops and photo-ops. Food was delicious. Good value for money. Highly Recommend.

It was an amazing experience with a nice local touch and I would like to highlight the professionalism of Nazperi, our guide, and Kniyaz, our driver.

I highly recommend this tour run by the ATI travel company, to anyone who wants to see something of the interior of Azerbaijan. Travelling through barren plains to cultivated land, wine country, orchards and finally into the Greater Caucasus mountains to travel through impressive gorges, the final destination is a traditional village of copper workers. Touristy of course but fascinating nonetheless . Our tour guide, Nazir, was very knowledgeable and fluent in both English and Russian. There were just 7 people in our group and the vehicle was very comfortable . 12 hours is a long trip but definitely worth while.
