Roland is an excellent city guide who knows Málaga and its history perfectly – and conveys this knowledge in a way that is as entertaining as it is likable. During the tour, he draws attention to details that you would probably walk past carelessly on your own: Traces on old facades from the "carriage era," stories about Picasso's birth and childhood years, the production of garum in Roman times, or the significance of the most important chapels in the cathedral. We especially liked how Roland brings history to life. He tells stories about famous sons and daughters of Málaga, connects historical facts with little stories and anecdotes, and manages to be informative without ever becoming boring. Roland is also completely convincing linguistically and has an excellent command of the languages he offers. Anyone who wants to not just see Málaga, but really get to know the city and its history, is in the best hands with Roland. A tour with him is worth it for every visitor to Málaga – a clear recommendation from us and a well-deserved five stars!
