Benvenuti nella mia cucina, dove ogni piatto racconta una storia e ogni momento è condiviso come in famiglia. Inizieremo con un assaggio della Spagna, una sangría rinfrescante fatta sul momento, proprio come facciamo a casa. Naturalmente, ci sarà anche del buon vino spagnolo da gustare. Poi ci rimbocchiamo le maniche e cuciniamo una classica tortilla spagnola, e poi... è il momento della star dello spettacolo: la tradizionale paella valenciana. Come orgoglioso valenciano, ti guiderò passo dopo passo, condividendo consigli, storie e tutti i piccoli segreti che mia nonna mi ha insegnato – in modo che anche tu possa fare una paella davvero autentica a casa. Ci godremo il cibo che abbiamo preparato insieme intorno al tavolo, con una grande conversazione, risate e una tazza finale di buon caffè. Più che una lezione, questa è una celebrazione — della cultura, della connessione e della gioia di cucinare insieme. E se avete tempo dopo, non perdetevi il vivace mercato di San Ildefonso proprio dietro l’angolo! Vieni affamato. Lasciati ispirare.

Got a taxi to the venue and waited outside only to be told by Viator they couldn’t get in touch with the provider and they would refund us. Not about the money about the fact we had planned our whole days activities around this and were left with 2 disappointed and cold children and no notice to book a suitable alternative.

Wonderful way to start our time in Madrid!! Pipa is the best teacher and cook, and she was so lovely and welcoming. She made us feel at home, and included each participant in every step of the class. There were 6 of us, and we had so much fun. Great paellas (a traditional made with rabbit and chicken, and another with seafood and chicken). We also made a Spanish tortilla, and we enjoyed a wonderful sangria. Just do this class!!
Pipa was such a lovely, friendly host. The cooking was super fun, informative, and most of all delicious! Highly recommend, we had a great time!
Our hostess Pilar was wonderful! She was an excellent teacher and we had a feast of the Spanish tortilla, Sangria, and Paella that she cheerfully taught us to make. She was warm and welcoming, and it was a treat to be in such a beautiful Spanish home with such a radiant person. We truly enjoyed our time with her, and the delicious authentic food. We highly recommend this experience in Madrid - you won’t be disappointed.

We were very impressed with this incredible cooking class with Paloma. From the moment we stepped into the kitchen, we knew we were in for something special. Paloma was a fantastic chef, warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her passion for her cuisine was evident in every step, and she made the entire experience both fun and educational. We learned how to make a true Valencian paella from scratch and a Spanish tortilla. After we finished preparing the dishes, we all sat down together to enjoy our dishes, accompanied by Spanish wines and great conversation. It was the perfect way to cap off an amazing culinary adventure. Thank you, Paloma, for an unforgettable day!
Such an awesome experience. Our host and Chef was amazing. She was very patient and took us step by step through preparation and what makes a traditional Paella. I definitely recommend this class!!! I was so much fun!

We absolutely loved our time with Paloma. She met us on the street near her apartment, escorted us to her kitchen, and began a fun afternoon of cooking traditional paella and tortilla accompanied by a pitcher of sangria. We specifically selected Paloma’s venue because we could tailor the menu, she provided a small group venue and it was very personable. We appreciated her following up with a email of the recipes. Be sure to check your email spam folder as that is where I found her transmission. This session was a highlight of our time in Madrid.
